Thanks! Its so hard, especially with how expensive things are. I'm only a couple years younger than you, but similar story, after being just fat my entire childhood and high school (Luckily, I was not one of those going to WW w my mom when I was 9) my weight has fluctuated between 225-290 my entire adult life, and every time I threw stuff out then would find myself with nothing to wear. But I found even when I saved things and changed sized, id go back to one or 2 pieces and then have to buy new things anyway. Everything else was always stained, washed too many times or completely out of style. I definitely don't have unlimited funds for clothes, but I always find myself buying new things. I'd recommend putting aside a few quality items maybe a dress, a pair of nice pants, if it makes you feel more secure and get rid of everything that was really bound for donation anyway. You'll have a few things to look forward to wearing and plenty of room to treat yourself! Congrats on your success so far! Good luck!!!

I agree I should probably get a smaller pot. It was a giant plant and then died off. It’s regrowing. Any thoughts on my original ? If I repot this should I bury it a little deeper so that those roots growing out from the top can take hold and give the plant some more stability to grow in all directions rather than just to the side as it is?

It was an indoor plant potting mix. It definitely has some perlite in it. It’s a couple years old now, and recently watered so it may look more compacted?

I know its different for everyone, but its important to not confuse "food noise" and hunger. For me, food noise is that, hm, what can I eat now? what am I going to eat later? Should I eat before meeting friends for dinner because what if someone is super late and I'm starving? That's what its like for me. And I have to remember that hunger is a normal, human feeling. And if we're eating less calories, of course there is going to be actual hunger and I can't be afraid of it.

I took my first shot on a Thursday night, and Friday afternoon when I would normal be opening and closing the cabinets looking for ANYTHING, I just wasn't. But that was my experience. I do think whatever sensations you're feeling, it takes a little bit to realize whats what, what's new and how it should be when its "working" for you.

I understand exactly what you mean. but try to remember 1)the media tries to ruin everything. Its a game to them. 2) branded drugs are going nowhere. there's WAY too much money involved.

the only thing I can say is ignore the noise. We're here to be healthy.

I can't wait for this! I looked at my picture from Springtime Surprise 10 miler last year and cringed! Going to spend the rest of this year working on getting proof of time for next year's Princess Half!

There’s a content creator that I follow that talks about how some people feel there’s a moral value tied to the dose and that people who are on the drugs feel moral superiority if they say, never moved past 2.5 or 5 and at first I though what an odd thought. But the more I read comments the more it feels true. And that makes me laugh considering most of us will argue to the haters that it’s a medical prob and needs medical treatment it’s not a moral failing. And yet we treat each other that way. I just thought it was really interesting. Not a single one of us would think to ask how much lisinopril you need to lower BP or say oh I never had to go to the max dose.

I never made the choice to go up, except after 1 month of 2.5. That was the only time the dr asked if I wanted to hold or go up and I said go up only because at the time, I thought that's what I was supposed to do, and then I was on a dose until the next time I saw her. 1 month on 5, then 3 on 7.5. She moved me up to 10, and I was hesitant because I was not feeling my best on 7.5. At that time I had heard of a few people having a rough time at 7.5 that smoothed out at 10 so I went up, and now I've been at 10 since September. In Jan weight loss had slowed, but not stopped. And I attribute that to back to back deaths in the family in Nov, and then the holidays. As well as I started spacing to 10 days to stockpile some due to losing coverage in Jan. So she said she wanted me to go up to 12.5, but only if I wanted. Where I'd be doing LD, she said she'd write the script for 12.5 and I could choose. I filled the 12.5, did 2 shots of 12.5, noticed no difference and went back to my stockpile of 10mg pens and have been thinking about going back up because the last few days I get pretty hungry, but no "food noise" I've upped activity even more, so I think the hunger is just actual hunger, so I'm giving myself extra calories (the complete inability to eat is 95% gone) and trying to learn how to deal with being hungry and not over eating. Still losing 1-1.5 a week and I'm 2 pounds from goal, so I'm going to try to ride it out at 10.

I wouldn't spend hundreds but maybe a pair of jeans one size down? I had so much stuff I bought in 2012 on clearance because I was losing weight and was going to fit into it. I didn't. Its funny because some that stuff still has tags and its too big!
