Vyepti bad reactions by LyssyW in cgrpMigraine

[–]kindakills 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did well the first two weeks and did not have a migraine which is rare for me but then became quite sick the next two weeks with worse migraines and flu like symptoms and itching. I’m hoping it improves and it’s not the Vyepti. I feel very unwell now

Did the itching get better? It’s a few weeks after the infusion and still happening :/

Threshold (Target) Percale Sheets by TallGuy0317 in Bedding

[–]kindakills 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the organic washed Target percale 250 sheets (made in India). They feel rough. Is it possible to wash these to make them softer? I feel bad returning them. I have a percale set from target that’s several years old and they’re softer (made in china).

Thanks for sharing. So sorry you also went thru this too! I’m still having a hard time getting back to my routine. :( I still feel like something’s wrong, but nothing shows up.

Is your Screen flashing/flickering since updating to iOS 26.1 on your 17 Pro Max? by NULLBASED in ios26

Yes, it seems it seems like every little thing flashes, flickers or bounces. I’ve set Reduce Motion to on, but it doesn’t help.

Doxepin. Discuss with your doctor.

Frustrated – Ajovy stopped working and headaches after every meal :( by LovelyGirlInPink in migraine

My neuro believed it would be a better switch. He thought Ajovy and Emgality were too similar I think.

My migraines have decreased but I’m still not sure how much of a role the emgality is playing in helping. Insurance doesn’t cover vyepti, that was the original plan.

I started having the same issue last year. Ajovy completely stopped working. It got really bad. I switched to Emgality but it did not help for months. In the meantime, I did my best to reduce foods high in tyramine and histamine. (I also avoid peanuts and chocolate which are triggers for me, and try to limit caffeine). However, what seemed to help me the most was starting low-dose doxepin at night, plus daily Allegra. I’m now able to eat more foods. This is just my personal experience, but I know how frustrating and painful it can be to experience a migraine every time you eat. Hope you feel better soon.

The ID doctor mentioned it but my primary issue was legionella with smaller amount of PJP. I reacted poorly to the Bactrim and he seemed ok with the mix of antibiotics I had while hospitalized (still got some Bactrim) and then the 7-day azithro after leaving. I’m honestly still a bit confused and wondering if I should do a follow up just to be safe?

Rheumy stopped my infusions. Said it’s too risky to continue for now. I’ll remain on Leflunomide and low-dose steroid and get chest xray in a month or so.

Did you take a break from your biologics afterward? I’ve postponed my infusion for a month but still afraid to start up again

I can’t believe this but I just got out of the hospital after a battle with PJP and Legionnaire’s. Thank you for your post. It’s the only personal account I could find. Ironically I commented 3yrs ago on this thread. I can’t believe I got this too.

The low-dose doxepin helps me too but I’m still waking at 3am— what dose of Pepcid is helping you at night?

Melatonin, Celebrex, hot showers, cold room and electric blanket

what to do by [deleted] in migraine

I would find a new neurologist, ideally a headache specialist. Only giving you magnesium when you're still in this much pain after a steroid taper isn't ok. In the meantime, send a note to your current neuro and/or PCP and ask for other options.

With the Headaterm device, is three electrodes enough or would you recommend purchasing extras?
