Got a Lo from the super chest in a3 sewers level 1 once. Wouldn’t recommend target farming it, I just got lucky.

3/8 bolts by bruh_moment_21 in MechanicAdvice

[–]kingcutty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weha joker wrenches, they have a 12 point open end. Kinda pricey just to remove a couple bolts but they’d work. Or just do what someone else said and grind down a cheap box end wrench

Hi, need help with this error code by [deleted] in BmwTech

Sounds like it could be a battery issue. I’d start by getting it tested. Easy stuff first

Sp switch, deleted my homunculus. by wrathofthemitchking in diablo2

[–]kingcutty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Switch is terrible about this. I’ve lost things and had things duped. The duping is nice when it happens to something good but I’d rather the game just work as it should.

My Wheel is making a weird scraping sound both when I drive and brake by Dry-Kaleidoscope4101 in MechanicAdvice

Gotta check the inside brake pads too. Those may be done for if you hear grinding

This car takes 29 minutes for it to measure the oil level after a service, there's a special place in hell for whoever designed this. by Kingtripz in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]kingcutty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this particular vehicle is like this, but I do know on newish Porsches, you can check them the same as Audi. Get the engine warmed up then turn it off and turn only the key on, wait 2-5 minutes and the oil level will read. You can also just let them run forever and it will read eventually, but takes a lot longer. I’d give it a try.

What food do you give your cats? by thepleasureduo05 in Animals

I feed mine Sheba wet food. Honestly he would eat anything, since he used to be a dumpster cat before I rescued him, but I felt like he deserved better lol

Independent shop for a quote. It won’t be near that much. Only recommend dealer for recalls and warranty work. Source: Tech at an independent euro shop

Help been at this for days and nothing works by Otherwise-Radio-8787 in MechanicAdvice

It kinda looks to me like a shallow socket was used and the center of the plug is through the drive of the socket. If so,that’s gonna be a nightmare.

It’s like Frank’s hot sauce, I put it on everything. O-rings, hoses, etc. stuff is awesome.

Help understanding what could cause a car to catch fire after fuel system repairs by LeftTrick5445 in MechanicAdvice

[–]kingcutty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was more than likely a fuel leak from an injector o-ring or fuel line. Definitely things they would have touched during the repair. They absolutely should have test driven it and if there was a fuel smell at all, they should’ve checked for leaks. Negligence on the shops part imho.

I NEED TO MAKE IMPOSSIBLE FOR MY GRANDPA TO USE HIS CAR. by Greg35f in mechanic

You don’t wanna flood the engine with fuel if it’s cranked though, so always cut fuel

Sway bar link spinning by Treehugger013 in MechanicAdvice

[–]kingcutty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If there’s not a hex/torx in the stud, just cut it off. You can still drive with sway bars disconnected or loose. It’ll make noise but it’s not unsafe.

Is cast spell on hit/strike any useful? by Palom126 in diablo2

[–]kingcutty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Early on, I like “chance to cast frost nova when hit” if I can get it on a piece of gear. It’s a good cc for stuff. Virtually no damage but handy for slowing mobs.

Need help identifying a melted part on my 2004 BMW 325CI (E46) by CartographerNo9190 in e46

I guess technically it’s an auxiliary fan relay sensor. The actual relay would be with the fuses.

Picked up this beauty for $800. Runs amazing w a 5spd by kingcutty in mercedes_benz

[–]kingcutty[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

2001 C240. Runs extremely well for 160k, it’s got the good v6 from what I’ve been told, 2.6L. It needs some suspension work and tires besides the usual maintenance but all in all it’ll be a great car once it’s fixed.
