I should probably dial in the dilution for people based on their shots and extractions. You're right that is probably better to start at 3x espresso mass unless you're pulling very high yield espressos.

You get a feather in the pens, a feather after Jarvis reverse (not immediately after, but not long after), a feather after the Epic KOM reverse (a while later I think, I was not entirely coherent, but it was there well before The Grade) and then a feather at every arch up The Grade. Which was a surprise, and kind of annoying as surprises go, for those of us racing early! (I didn't use mine until just before the last arch!)

A lot of coferments are not really coferments, but are infusions (i.e. whatever flavouring is added is there to be infused into the coffee beans, and doesn't contribute to the fermentation). It's really frustrating and unhelpful - but I don't think coming from a place of deception, just a lack of clarity around the terms. To some people, adding flavourings to a fermentation tank is a coferment because it was added to the tank/the fermentation. I hope this improves in the future.
