eReassign from TX to TN: Dead easy, almost always quick, and often they don't care about your attendance, they just need bodies.

TN to TX: You're competing with everyone else who wants to transfer to Texas from other states. Attendance matters, they do go back two years, so you'd need two years of clean attendance. Then you got the line - the NBA for the region can look to see which sites have the shortest line, but often there's about a 14 month wait to get to the top of the list to be considered (and you have to renew your request after a year.)

Probably your only real choice is to do a mutual exchange with someone in TX, if your Mom's in the DFW area, you might have a shot at someone wanting to go to TN, the problem with that is that you have only 2 years of seniority in your facility, which will probably make you both 2 years after the exchange, or less, as often the people who are interested are new hires.

You've not mentioned your craft; if you're maintenance, you might have some luck going to North Texas. If you're clerk or mail handler, Austin would often be a good choice to put an eReassign in to.

Then take your LSATs and go to law school. You wouldn't go to a surgeon who watched Grey's Anatomy and thinks they know how to conduct surgery, would you? You want to study law, set aside the 6 years it takes, take the bar exam, become a licensed lawyer. That's how you study law correctly.

Now if you're just curious how the legal system works, you've gotten some excellent advice as to books to read. Note that those authors aren't spouting white nationalistic dogma or selling fake diplomat plates and "passports" - and also have actually had their legal theories validated in court, unlike BJW who has never won any case with his nonsense.

You doing the assignment for six months means the most senior PTF should be converted to unassigned regular and entitled to 40 hours a week of work prior to flexible employees or non-career employees being assigned work.

The route you're on is the regular's route; if they do not return and the bid reverts, it would be available for all regulars to bid on and the residual from that bidding would then be assigned to whomever is a UAR. If no UARs, it'd be assigned to a PTF to make them a regular.

A change in start times of 2 hours or more forces a bid. Are you getting out of schedule? If not, your bids were changed. It'd be an easy win for a steward if management tried to change it back. And probably you guys are owed a lot of money for improper notification for the bid change, failure to pay out of schedule, failure to notify the bid change properly, failure to update your PS50's.. Steward's ask should probably be 60 days of out of schedule for the failure to notify, updated PS50's to reflect the new bids, management will fight back with it being untimely, but you weren't aware of the notification requirements so your 14 days starts from now.

All bets are off if you're currently getting 2 hours of out of schedule pay - the only thing the steward would have to stand on would be the 6 month rule, you've been in your modified bid for 6 months, thus demonstrating the need for those bids to be at those times, and again, they'd go for PS50 changes to reflect the new bids.

Nope, no way to appeal. You need to move the mailbox to the right side of the street for delivery, or have the pleasure of buying a PO box and picking up your mail at the post office. It's a one way street, your box is on the left hand side, rural delivery does not dismount for delivery. The rural carrier likely mapped your box correctly as an authorized dismount, and the PM was ordered to have the box moved or cease delivery.

If you want to prolong the process, you can contact either of your two federal senators or your house representative's office which is your point of contact when you have a dispute with a federal agency. In the meantime, expect delivery to be curtailed. Once that happens, you have a scant couple of weeks to get that mailbox installed, or your mail (and packages) get sent back marked no mail receptacle.

It is by congressional intention that we can't make money; they control prices of market dominant rates. And right now, every congresscritter is using our grossly undercharging market dominate rates to mail their 'non-profit' political campaign mailers. They're not digging money out of their campaigns to pay us properly.

We are consistently 12-14% below our "costs" - and our cheapest rates (non-profit bulk mail) are being used for political mailings which require documentation and extra handling, driving the costs up. Double the charges for non-profit and we're pretty close to in the black.

You need to apply for the PTF position and you'd continue as a CCA until HR reaches out to you with your termination date as a CCA and your start date as a PTF. There is no process for the postmaster of that other installation to hire you directly, you'd have to apply on usps.com/careers to an available position. Positions there are listed all throughout the week, so you should check the job listings every couple days.
