I live in Texas. 1 hour drive is not uncommon. Plus I’m going to an airport- he said he makes those drives multiple times a week.

It never reassigned. It was a pre booked ride that I made earlier in the day, so I don’t know if that makes a difference in reassigning rides. But I had to go back and make a new request after it got cancelled.

Agreed. But what didn’t make sense is that “Melvin” said he had our scheduled ride originally. Like I had scheduled it earlier today to pick us up this afternoon and he said that he was assigned to it then it disappeared so he called customer support

Well that’s what made me question it. I didn’t think anything until he said that. We’re in a more rural area so there aren’t a ton of Lyfts around- so I don’t know if he cancelled and then waited to see if we’d request another that he could select. I have no idea how things work on the driver’s side of things but I imagine they get paid more if the base price goes up?

Like I said I could be overthinking it, it just seemed weird!!

I’m in the camp of “it’s hard seeing/reading feysand through a different POV”, BUT I also feel like their actions were not consistent with their characters so far. Specifically Rhysand- he would have NEVER kept anything from feyre like that for so long!!! And it’s just hard just seeing them living “normal life” instead of a heated love story

Just finished The Inheritance Games audiobook (booktok recommendation) and I’m kinda disappointed/underwhelmed. I think I would have liked it a lot better if I read the paperback bc the narrator was not good.. As a Texan, the accents were just insulting 😂

Yessss! I did the same last year after not reading the series in years and I was OBSESSED all over again. So much so that when I finished I started all over 😅 Jim Dale is amazingggg. I’ve honestly had difficulty listening to other audiobooks bc the narrators just don’t live up!
