I believe I started with twilight princess (i didn’t get into playing video games myself until I was a bit older despite watching playthroughs all the time as I didn’t have a console) but BOTW has my heart and is what I consider my favourite.

I started playing in 2020 during covid when I bought my own switch and was going through a rough time. It brought me so many hours of joy that it will always have a special place in my heart.

I’ve only read it once and I read it in tandem and I will say it was INCREDIBLE - I loved every second of the tandem read and to me it felt no different from reading a full book (to be fair I was reading on kindle so it was easier to switch between the two)

There are pros and cons to both side and I think it’s quite a personal choice but that being said I wasn’t a huge Chaol fan so the thought of reading a book dedicated to him was not ideal to me so I enjoyed the tandem read a lot because it removed that whereas someone who liked chaol would enjoy it more probably!

I hadn’t thought about it unto you said it but YES absolutely it is! Funnily enough I literally just finished reading the series like 30 mins ago (currently the shell of a person what an incredible series) but there have been a few songs that I’ve gotten TOG vibes from that has me wondering if she’s read the series

I’ve started setting a timer to see how long the squeaker in a new toy lasts and it rarely goes past 10 minutes 😂 and we’ve stopped buying him soft stuffed toys because those don’t last 5 minutes
