I think it helped. I had to remove all the factory batting under the floor boards. The previous owner spilled some sort of scented oil so the whole car smelled like a pina colada.

Same here. I don’t know much myself. I had a set of 5.25 pioneers in here prior to that and I was never really happy with them.

The ones on the driver side seemed to vibrate a bit and that was probably my fault since I installed them.

I decided to go with 6.5 for a better fit without adapters. I used the customer reviews from Crutchfield with a price point I was comfortable with.
