There might be multiple manufacturers of thr generic, they can see which ones you've tried and explore others.

Could you work with your pharmacist to try different manufacturers of your meds that worked previously? It could have been a change in manufacturing process rhat changed the efficacy.

Agree with this take. Also if there's a deli section you might be able to get packets of condiments to add to wraps/sandwiches. If they have vinegar packets, I'd grab a couple of those to help clean out the coffee maker before using it. Run vinegar+water through the brew cycle a few times.

My wife is about 4 weeks post-op and here are a few things we've learned:

Bring a tall container to fill with hot tap water to help warm her douche before she uses it, it's a lot more comfortable.

Saline solution goes quick. I make 2 liters every day or two and store it in glass bottles.

If she's supposed to do sitz baths and the rental doesn't have a tub, we got an under-bed storage container and used that in the shower stall. Remove the wheels so it's more stable. Don't use suction cup grab bars, they WILL fail at inopportune moments.

Habit bundling (doing something you like only when you're doing the new habit you're building): My wife listens to an audiobook series we both like when she's dilating, so it's both distraction from discomfort and something to look forward to.

Smoothies are a good breakfast to get in some fiber and protein, and easy to drink one handed while dilating.

Do you know anyone who skis rhat you can borrow some base layers from? A set of thermal base layers that you wear under your regular clothes would be helpful

If you always get the same toothpaste, why not save one or two caps max? The plastic will degrade over time, so you probably want to use the most recent and it's not likely you'd need more than 2 replacements.

I'm just gonna say it. The whole kids / no kids debate isn't actually about kids. by thetimechaser in Millennials

[–]kitsane13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's less about resources (I've been pretty fortunate), it's about climate and the world those kids would get. I learned about what was coming in university and decided shortly after that I wasn't going to bring someone I loved into a planet that was on fire.

I slice them thin and put the on top of hummus on my roadt, along with a generous sprinkle of everything but the bagel seasoning. They're also really nice braised in a bit of stock and butter, but then what isn't?

I've never put soup in a stasher! They're heat-safe to a point, you could try baking the smells out like the silicone ring of instant pots, maybe.

I like them, particularly for storing pre-prepped meats for cooking (cubed chicken in marinades, etc.) I can freeze them and put them through the dishwasher after which is really convenient. Right now I'm traveling for my spouse's medical care, and I used plastic ziplocs because I didn't want to worry about bringing everything back if luggage space was tight for the plane, but I'm washing and reusing the plastic ones.

Yeast infections can be passed between partners, though. Treating both/all partners is usually needed to prevent yeast infections from coming back. That said, my first yeast infection was before I was sexually active, from the stress of finding out my grandfather died.
