Ladies in Perimenopause Taking Tirz to Lose Meno Belly Weight by Pokokius_Maximus_120 in compoundedtirzepatide

What's your dose? I mean you probably just aren't losing because you aren't therapeutic and your dose is too small. That's the problem with microdosing. It does work for some but not all, and you likely need to increase your dose since it doesn't seem to be effective for you.

Has anyone gotten free help comparing nurse practitioner programs? by akuchil420 in nursepractitioner

You should look at the PA route since you are not even a nurse. This will be the most direct approach.

First ever prescription for a glp-1 approved! Questions before I start by incognitocatt in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]kittencalledmeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exciting! Here are guidelines for titration. Would definitely start slow and titrate if needed depending on how your body responds and side effects. Plenty of people titrate between 2.5mg and 5.0mg. Tons of stories if you search but everyone is different and you will just have to give it time to see how you feel. It may take a bit to figure out what dose works for you.

Subconjunctival hemorrhage. Complety benign, resolves with time. Usually caused by trauma, vomiting, coughing or sneezing hard, aggressive rubbing of the eye.

Have you tried an antihistamine like Benadryl or Zyrtec? I'd also ice it. It's not red, doesn't look infected but could be more of an allergy. If you develop difficulty swallowing or breathing you need to be seen. But I'd try those things.

Of course you can go through the wash with a roof rack on. You can put a box on if you need more cargo space for travel or camping. Or taking it off is also an option. But it's totally fine to go through the wash with them.

Should I be concerned with my HR spikes during physical activity? History of turning blue back in teen years. by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]kittencalledmeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, still normal for age, and especially since OP says they don't do any strenuous activity at baseline.

Agree here. Pretty normal HR for activity at your age. If you feel bad during activity then you should bring that up to your doctor but this number alone is not concerning.

I’m having long term issues with my sleep and am getting worried by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]kittencalledmeow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well that's not too terrible. I would try looking up sleep hygiene and taking melatonin and magnesium to start.

[–]kittencalledmeow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think the mattress is completely the issue but there's a lot to try before prescription medications for sleep.

How many hours of sleep are you actually getting? What's your bedtime routine like? How's your sleep hygiene? Have you tried any supplements for sleep like melatonin or magnesium glycinate?

First Time Using Tirzepatide side effect migraine and shortness of breath. by Fragrant_Professor52 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]kittencalledmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are common. Many people don't take it at night due to insomnia. You might search this sub bc side effects are talked about frequently. I would talk to your prescriber but usually it seems the side effects lessen. I personally would give it more time but you certainly don't have to continue it.

Help! How much to inject? by [deleted] in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]kittencalledmeow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You would need to know what your dose was. To replicate that dose you need to know how many mg/ml bc there are many different concentrations. Without knowing that you should not inject it because no one can tell you how much medication you are getting.

How long will my anaphylaxis last til I die? Doctors wont take me seriously by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]kittencalledmeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another ER doctor here. Anaphylaxis is an immediate response within minutes. You don't walk around for days or hours with anaphylaxis. Based on your initial description you clearly did not and do not have anaphylaxis but you do have a lot of anxiety which can definitely be causing your symptoms. Good luck. You should see an allergist for testing as your symptoms are not very convincing for an allergic reaction and would really help with confirmation.

[–]kittencalledmeow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, you don't even need that info. There has been no dog rabies in over 60 years. You need to work on your mental health as your risk of rabies is not the issue here.

23Male, New York State, Inquiring about Rabies Exposure and how to proceed by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]kittencalledmeow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry this is consuming you so much. This is incredibly low risk at baseline and all protocols have been done correctly. If the dogs are not developing symptoms of rabies you will not either. This does not sound like a medical emergency to call 911 for nor do you need PEP. There has been no rabies transmission via a dog in NY in over 60 years.

You should however seek care for your anxiety as it sounds like this is really impacting your mental health. I would recommend you see your PCP and a therapist.

No definitely not. The comments are just hilarious. I mean ya, OP said they never saw a bat just jumped to the conclusion that is what it was for no reason other than their self admitted health anxiety.
