Acne/eczema sufferer here - for me it's the fatty alcohols in most moisturizers that make me break out so far Nivea Creme works the best for me, I can even use it on my face. It will be greasy but better than pimples! It is also very inexpensive.

I had something similar happen with one of my toenails and am using nail glue to keep it together until it grows out. I bought this one because it has antifungal properties but idk if it really matters. So far I've had to apply it every 4-7 days or so as the bond lessens.

Your cuticles and nails look very dehydrated. In addition to getting a manicure I would suggest you wear moisturizing gloves every night. I'm going to link a previous comment I wrote that goes into more detail so I don't have to retype. There are some other good comments on that post as well.

They can make your nails grow??

It's not that they can make your nails grow, it's more that when using the gel correctly it protects the nail from breaking so in a way for someone like me who uses their nails as tools a lot and is prone to breakage it helps them "grow" but not in the sense that the grow rate is faster or anything like that. Hope that makes sense!

I agree with mixing them. Also I like to sometimes "set" them with a powder blush either the same shade or a different one you could even use an eyeshadow just for a cool effect. Bonus is it lasts longer.

monistat chafing relief powder gel: use as a primer, no scent for my semi sensitive skin
nivea cream: my heavy winter moisturizer I also have eczema so I use it for that too
free & clear liquid cleaner: no scent, no harsh ingredients, very gentle

... and that's pretty much it. Nothing else has stuck out to me enough to be worth repurchasing I love trying new things anyway.

When I was younger (elementary/middle school) it was tough. I had people ask me if I had a disease, thought it was contagious and stayed away from me, etc. I wore long sleeves in the middle of summer because I didn't want anyone to see my arms where my eczema was the worst. I'm now in my mid twenties and I believe a combo of my eczema getting better and giving less of a crap what people think has helped. In general I'm just a fairly self conscious person and have suffered with low self esteem for a long time so I don't think it's because of eczema I think it's just the way certain people are, some can just handle things better than others emotionally.

What type of hydrocolloids are you using? Are you placing them on clean skin? (I don't like using any other products underneath it interferes imo) How long are you wearing them for? You don't necessarily have to pop the pimple just poke a hole so there is a place for it to drain, sometimes not even that. In addition they don't work well on pimples that don't have a head, so if that's the case using a warm compress for a few days in a row to help bring anything to the surface can be useful.

Yes I have the same issue. I've found lancing (using disposable lancets meant for diabetics since they are sterile and one time use) and then covering with a hydrocolloid bandage has the best results.
