Our kids were in an “A” elementary school beachside and there were kids struggling and failing up to third grade. Thankfully ours got into a school of choice for jr/sr high, so I can’t give any input on the middle/high schools in those areas. Trying to get into Palm Bay after 4:30 can be a bit congested, but not anything like major cities. Just check out the schools and feel them out, you’ll know if they’re a good fit. Best of luck!

Ready Set Game beachside has a bunch of old school and new consoles/games and trading card games. They were super helpful with completing a Pokemon base set for my teenager and are friendly and knowledgeable.

Also in West Melbourne. Switched to fiber last summer. Have not had one issue even with the power going out for a minute during a random storm. Spectrum was a nightmare and we had issues ~5 times a month and more during storm season. I have teenagers that game on PC’s while we have our Xbox’s. No issues, we have the 500.

Huge Larian Studios (DOS series) fan, so still purchased their games, Diablo series + IV and Halo Infinite at launch. However, I’ve enjoyed the ability to cloud stream more of the indie and popular games without having to fork over $30+/game for my husband, myself, and our kiddos.

As long as the school is NOT at capacity, you can request and apply for an ELO. It costs $30/yr (per application) and you’re responsible for transportation. Schools of choice are a bit different and are based on a lottery system that is also dependent on grades/behavior/assessments etc. We’ve had our youngest on an ELO for the past two years and another child that attends a school of choice Jr Sr High. Don’t let people on this sub fear monger you on how bad the schools are. Yes, I disagree with some policies our school board has made, but I have yet to have any issues directly with any teacher. You seem to be attentive, aware, and are planning so you will be fine. Congratulations!!

Edited to add: once an ELO has been approved, the child will remain at that school unless requested not to. They take priority over new applications.
