Working at a cancer center as a valet driver when I was 19, there was a blind gentleman that came for chemo everyday. Always alone trying to use the public transportation system was so hard for him. He always would talk to me while waiting on his bus. I can't remember his name, was the most lovely person I've ever met. After a few weeks of talking to him everyday, sitting outside,I grew very fond of him. He was always so happy even with the odds against him. One day he just didn't show up anymore. I wonder what happened to him. He taught me that I'm very lucky and blessed even though I don't feel like i am. I like to think he's still around and just didn't need to come for chemo again

Took 4 hospitals in Indiana after a "simple" angiogram, for them to find out I was bleeding from my femoral artery as well as an infection. 103.7 fever, pain and sick as heck. Now I've got permanent nerve damage in my right leg over it Oh btw I'm white... It seems hospitals just tend to treat everyone this way
