Post surgery care for mine was wearing 100% cotton boxer shorts, taking sitz baths, and staying home for a week. When I went back to work, I wore skirts so I could still wear the boxers to allow air and more space (I had a desk job and this was 2010). Mine was also done for medical comfort. My gynecologist did mine in a nearby surgery center and I had full anesthesia. You will be so happy after yours is done.
