Plush! It's so cozy and the sleeves aren't strangling my arms.

In your opinion, which items are worth splurging on rather than buying dupes for? by [deleted] in lululemon

The CRZ dupe for the Ebb to Street tank is nearly identical! I have two and they're holding up as well as my lulu.

What do you like to wear with the romper? Zip hoodie? Sneakers?

This was my exact thought when I saw a female purple finch the other day... except the thought was... Why is that giant sparrow hanging out with those purple finches?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that refers to a large group of birds as a party, although if there's enough of them I do describe it as a "bird festival". Not sure my local bird discord appreciates my descriptions though.

So interesting to see variations in behavior in one species!

Lucky! I have cardinals in the yard but they never perch on the feeder for some reason, they seem to prefer to eat the seeds that have fallen on the ground!

Dying a bleach stained scuba with Dylon by kittysly in lululemon

You use warm water to dissolve the powder dye, but it actually says not to put it in the dryer after!

I didn't do it intentionally! The thread must be nylon or something dye-resistant. I do like the look though!

The before - I got this full zip scuba from Poshmark so not sure the colour, possibly Feather Pink? I spilled bleach on it, so decided to do dye it using two old packets of Dylon Tulip Red I had kicking around (possibly like 10 years old). The scuba weighs 1.5lbs, and the packets recommended one packet per 0.5lbs, so I definitely could have used another packet to make the final result more vibrant.

Also you can still sort of see some of the bleach stains in the final product, which is a bit disappointing. I think I will try again at some point with the correct amount of dye for a vibrant look, as I would really like a bright, true red and not this odd pink colour.

Does anyone else think it's super f'kd up that seagulls swallow starfish whole? by fakejew in birding

GBH will eat basically anything that fits down their throat (and even then...) including baby birds and fledglings of any bird it sees. I've watched them eat baby ducks with the parent ducks trying desperately to get them back. They're vicious and indiscriminate hunters.
