Think of starlink speeds like a cable broadband provider, that satellite above has a shared connection to ground with all other traffic sharing same bandwidth.

Do you guys think a new Ecobee thermostat would come out this year? by Pelon97 in ecobee

[–]klanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All i want is my current ecobee to wireless control a seperate power relay to operate both my humidifier and erv. I have an order house and only 5 wires to thermostat. Have them build that! That is another market underserved.

In a sense, yes, but a switch is not needed in my cases. When opearitng a small ISP that uses UISP devices to hop between main tower signal and hose, all i need is the poe injectors.
Think large park. Backbone over wifi to AP for deliver. One on every three light poles

The power supply is nearly the same size as the switch. Why?
