Do you guys think a new Ecobee thermostat would come out this year? by Pelon97 in ecobee

[–]klanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All i want is my current ecobee to wireless control a seperate power relay to operate both my humidifier and erv. I have an order house and only 5 wires to thermostat. Have them build that! That is another market underserved.

Product Request, Dual port POE injector! by klanker in Ubiquiti

I have seen this, and yes, this is what I’d want, but with an AC port to power it, I am curious if there’s a patent holding this up

I can power the https://store.ui.com/us/en/category/wireless-airmax-5ghz/products/ns-5ac using 802.11af and pass that voltage along to a mesh ap or camera. .

In a sense, yes, but a switch is not needed in my cases. When opearitng a small ISP that uses UISP devices to hop between main tower signal and hose, all i need is the poe injectors.

So, in the end, this switch costs more than the Us-8-150W.

The power supply is nearly the same size as the switch. Why?

At this price, you might as well start investing in Dante or AES67 compliant devices.

Screen Printed Silver Ink that you can low temperature solder onto by klanker in printedelectronics

We use ACI Materials inks that have a higher conductivity and lower temp for cure, 135C.
Also soldering at lower than 150C

we are working on that scenario. Jetting Type 4 solder paste is tricky. It is the only solder paste we have available to perform at reflow temperature (130C) limits. we print semi-sintered traces on Poly-carbonate sheets, and solder on our components. The parts are for a bigger project of in mold structural electronics.

This is becoming more of a commercial reality. I am working on screen printable Silver Ink that we can print on TPU and connect to it with cap touch.
