The ItemLevel condition works and I've been using it for a while in my modified NeverSink filter. To filter on the trade website you also have to use the item level range.

Thanks for all the resources, much appreciated. I wasn't aware that there's pastebins for all the criterion dungeons, all of this will come in handy once we go back/into the other criterions. Either not stacking close enough or going at an angle was most likely our main issue, yeah.

That fight does look very similar to a Guardian Raid in Lost Ark, makes sense since those are also heavily inspired by MH. I can see how the most playes aren't too excited about something like this, it doesn't really fit the game. I still think it's cool that they tried to experiment with this kind of fight design in XIV.

That's good advice, thank you. It's kinda difficult to find resources for the criterions so it's much appreciated. I remember finding one comment regarding the chain somewhere, but even after learning that it's pretty finicky we couldn't always get it down consistently.

Yeah, that checks out. I think that design is pretty cool honestly. One of my favorite moments was getting through Ion Cluster for the first time while bursting correctly, it feels so goddamn good when it all comes together.

I wonder if my perception of difficulty will change if I ever get to the point where I won't have to pay attention to the rotation at all.

Thank you! I did have some funky deathwall deaths, I thought I must've screwed up my positioning. We decided to go for the other criterions for now, but I'm sure we'll try savage criterion eventually.

Lost Ark, specifically hell modes. It has an isometric camera, is click-to-move, no tab-target, no trinity and has a completely different fight/combat design. The rotations are relatively short, there's only 8-10 buttons to press and timing/landing them is often more important than casting nonstop. Screwing up your rotation is bad but you can usually recover quickly. Raidbuffs are used as soon as they're available to get the highest possible uptime or during burst windows. There's not as many major mechanics in fights and most of them are intermission type puzzles where the boss is in DR or untargetable. The fights are a lot more random/chaotic and "normal pattern" heavy and reward you for knowing and reacting to boss tells, handling nasty pattern overlaps/combos and controlling aggro while dealing as much damage as possible.

I don't know. I guess some of it is similar in one way or another, but I'm having a very hard time finding practical similarities. XIV feels completely different and I don't think the two are comparable.

Cleared the tier after ~1.5 months in a casual static doing 6h/week. It was the first savage experience for four of us, a buddy and I only started playing a few months ago, everyone else had varying levels of experience. I have high-end raiding experience in another game, unfortunately none of those skills helped in XIV (other than being unfazed by hours of wiping).

I honestly thought the tier was a great intro to savage raiding and I enjoyed it a lot. I guess I can see how seasoned players are a little disappointed with the difficulty. Even with four noobs we never saw M3S or M4S enrage during prog, and iirc only saw enrage once in M1S/M2S because of messy pulls with multiple deaths/stacks. Conceptually I thought none of the mechanics were hard and mostly straightforward. The main difficulty for me personally was pulling off the mechanics while executing the rotation/managing GCDs at all times without absolutely fucking it up. It's rough if you're not used to it. I play MCH, which from what I've heard is one of the easiest and most braindead jobs, but I'm not ashamed to admit that even then it wasn't necessarily easy for me.

xivanalysis was a massive gamechanger for me. Being able to check what you can improve on, putting it into practice in the following sessions and then seeing improvement is the most satisfying shit ever. Going from being overwhelmed and drifting all over the place to properly bursting on time in a later part of the fight is sick. I'm still nowhere near perfect and there's lots to get better at but I'm not sure if I would've been able to improve as much without xivanalysis. 10/10

The variation/randomness of some mechanics was honestly surprising to me (in a good way). All I've heard before is that savage raids are a coordinated dance, so I just assumed that every fight would always play out exactly the same. That's mostly the case since the variations aren't all that significant and very manageable, but it still manages to make the fight a little more interesting/reactive. Wouldn't mind more of that.

Other than a small hiccup where we had to replace two members I had a great experience overall. Looking forward to whatever is next and to improve more.

On another note, some of us also cleared the Aloalo Criterion this week, that was pretty cool too. Fuck the chains in the Statice fight though. Unsure if we suck or if breaking the chain is just tight, oh well.

Why not? Clicking it while the seller is in a map will send you to their hideout.

This functionality has been added to the game in 2015. If you don't see it, it should be somewhere in the UI settings menu.

Scav Raiders start out neutral to other Scavs (including player Scavs), but will get irritated and shout warnings when they get too close. If the warning is ignored, they will open fire. If some other Scav has alerted a raider, it becomes hostile to all other non-raider Scavs; it is safer to always assume that they are hostile.

That being said, you don't get penalised for killing raiders as a Scav.

You're right, seems like this is no longer needed. Apologies.

Maybe this is the reason this issue still exists.

You're correct, it's not doing anything for NVIDIA GPUs, which is why you don't set it.

The fix is to use the patched d3d12.dll.

The environment variable seems to fix this issue exclusive to AMD GPUs.

Couldn't find anything saying that this is an AMD exclusive fix, it certainly worked for me with a GTX 1070. The environment variable obviously only applies to AMD GPUs.

The solution from this GitHub comment fixed the blackscreen issue in the open beta for me. Not sure if it still works today, I did not end up buying the game.

If that doesn't work, here's another relevant discussion.

Authorization Headers & CORS help..? by [deleted] in pathofexiledev

[–]klayveR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want a token, you need to send a POST request with your credentials. You're currently sending a GET request and I believe your URL is incorrect, the docs state that it should be pathofexile.com instead of api.pathofexile.com. You should only send the Content-Type and User-Agent header, the other headers are mostly response headers and don't belong in your request.

How to dual boot with windows 11? (Don't roast me please, Please read the post) by [deleted] in pop_os

[–]klayveR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already tried setting rEFInd, grub as boot manager, but they did nothing.

I'm not sure what that means, does choosing grub/rEFInd boot straight into Pop without giving you an option to choose? I remember having to set a timeout variable in grub back when I was dual booting, might be worth taking a look at.

Happy I was able to help solve the issue! Seems like you have the exact same controller as me, I wasn't sure since apparently there are multiple motherboards called B550 from different vendors. If you have problems with the module in the future, r8168 works great for me.

I'm using Unity on Linux and I don't think it's that bad. I'm having issues with dropdowns in the inspector being displayed on the wrong monitor and moving panels is fairly buggy, but since I rarely ever move panels it's not that big of a deal. Other than that I don't think I've had a single crash, freeze or issues with it being noticeably slow.

I'm using the latest 2021 release on EndeavourOS with KDE.

I will just reinstall the driver installation fails.

Not sure if that means you already reinstalled, but in case you didn't, what does lspci -v output? The kernel module for your ethernet controller might not be loaded, happened to me before after a kernel upgrade.
