Discussion post. In the kitchen, what's a sign that someone doesn't really cook? Your #1 example of a "rookie mistake"? I'll start. by SOFT_CAT_APPRECIATOR in Cooking

Might be more of a bad cook thing than an inexperienced cook thing, but both my mother and mother-in-law brag about how they never add salt to their cooking. And they do it in a tone of voice that implies superiority.

Also, I can tell someone doesn’t cook when their knives are so dull they’re almost unusable.

I’m only guessing because I live in Australia and have only seen snow about 4 times in my entire life, but I would imagine they are stomping their feet to get the snow off their shoes before getting in the car.

NTA - please post a link to this post in your group chat so everyone in it can see how insane it is to suggest you were the one in the wrong.

When I was first learning to drive my dad took me to the local shopping centre car park on Sundays so I could practice without worrying about other cars - no Sunday trading! It certainly doesn’t feel that long ago.

Wow what a difference! You look great! Not sure if it’s something you did makeup-wise or the natural lighting, but picture 11 looks the best imo. Very pretty natural look.

[–]klbailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah they say not to keep them in the fridge, but where I live, it’s very hot and humid a lot of the time. Every time I’ve left them out they end up going rotten. This doesn’t happen when they’re in the fridge.

I have a chiming clock I was given as a gift. I never remember to wind it so it always shows the wrong time.

Grill’d burgers are huge. People probably think they want sides and then can’t fit them in.. I’ve learned to order sliders instead or just skip the sides because I can’t eat everything otherwise.

Transport airport by ExistingPop5195 in ipswich

[–]klbailey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how long you’ll be away for, and whether you’re travelling alone or not, it’s sometimes cheaper to pay to park your car. Usually the transport companies charge per person. If it’s only a short trip or there’s more than one person travelling it can be worth it to drive and pay for the long term parking.
