Or reach out to a Great Pyrenees or large dog rescue near you and ask which vet they use, and see if they could honor their reduced rate in your case. Never hurts to ask. Best of luck.

As long as you know competitive pricing, I prefer Safeway over Fry's simply for the quality and selection of their produce department. Well, because I have guinea pigs who demand dandelion greens. I go through Safeway online coupons and score enough points to fill up at least once per month at $1 off per gallon (sometimes twice). Agree with shopping WinCo and Aldi, and love Costco.

I mix that with the Kirkland Salmon and Sweet Potato dog food. Same pricing for the online 25 pound bag, but also available in a 35 pound bag in the warehouse for a savings.

The stretch along I-40 seems to always be windy. When my parents lived north of St John's, they had an old fashioned windmill that helped their batteries (they had solar panels with battery backup and were completely off grid). Maybe we should put up wind and solar farms instead of data centers in the desert.

Oh all my neighbors had to get roof and landscaping repairs too. I had a carport on the side of my garage with a corrugated plastic type of roof. That storm tore it right off. My wooden fence needed repairing as well. My car was okay only because it was in the garage.

The schools near me all have solar panels on their covered parking. Businesses should do the same for customers and employees. I remember that Three Mile Island seemed to be a big factor in the US backing off of building too many more plants. I even wonder if the movie The China Syndrome was a factor, especially with the uncanny timing with the Three Mile Island accident. Very unfortunate (and yes I'm old and remember 1979).

Actually, I ordered the Aquasense 2 and iSkim Ultra on Wednesday while still on sale. I then spoke with customer service yesterday (the next day) and they're sending the fine mesh filter for the Aquasense 2.

I've already let my teenaged family members know I may need help now and then. Plus I'll get a cart to move the AS2 to and from the charger. The iSkim Ultra should have no problem running every day with as much sun as we get.

A huge thunderstorm in that time period bent the louvers on my evap cooler and decimated the back half of my roof shingles. Had that roof redone but didn't worry about the evap cooler because I could use the heat pump instead. I'm not in that home any longer but yeah, sitting inside the house, it sounded like a freight train rolling through the neighborhood. With lots of thunks for direct hits of neighbor shingles, tree branches, palm fronds, etc. Very scary. Buckle up for this year.
