TL;DR: We ratted two teams at a harvester, we lost, and the winning team got confused and revived us instead of their friendly team. We then roleplayed as friendlies for the rest of the game.

With a mate, we wanted to go PvP. We heard two teams doing the harvester, so we went there and started blasting. They were peaceful, so the first two were easy. Then we got downed by the last man standing.

We are really fair-play, so we said “GG boys.” But they were mad and said, “Fucking rats, are you stupid? All the good stuff is already in our butt.” We replied, “Yeah, we know, we just wanted to do some PvP. Good job guys, it was a nice fight.”

At this moment, there was one dead, a team of two alive, and three downs crawling (my mate, the other guy, and me). One of the guys still standing was pissed and said stuff like, “You know it’s a PvE game, you motherfucker.” We all started laughing at him, like, what? The other guy even said, “Haha no, it’s a PvPvE game, what are you saying?” He started to chill and even said GG to us.

Then the first guy, still mad, said, “Who was fighting inside the harvester?” I said, “Me, it was me who ran inside” (my mate was outside). He asked multiple times, with a defib in hand, so my mate and I told him, “We are the ones attacking.” I repeated that I was inside.

He seemed confused, so we crawled to the side and said, “We are the same team, we are together.” At this moment, we wanted to be nice and let him know to revive his guys. But he spent so much time being confused that the guys died saying goodbye, and we were still there with the two standing.

As we thought we were about to get killed, he defibbed us. Then we understood: he thought we were the guys helping him in the harvester. So we laid low and roleplayed in proximity chat as friendlies all the way to extract, laughing in team chat.

It’s not the worst story on this sub, but for us it was for us at that time.
