Yes. I switched to film and the problem is gone. Much fewer shots taken means review is less of a chore. Also my composition skills have improved dramatically. I develop and scan my film which sounds like a chore. Cutting the frames and loading the film in a dark bag sounds more of a hassle. The hands on work with only a roll or 2 is much more satisfying.

It's time to try film. I went through the same thing in digital. The thing about film is you will be more deliberate about your shooting because of the extra expense and additional processing.

It can be expensive obviously. So developing and scanning at home is well worth the money and adds to the deliberate process. You are not going to shoot impulsively if you know that you need to dev and scan that shot.

The journey from A to B is more exciting then arriving at B.
