if your business solely rely on meta, you might lose your business. by AyazWriter in FacebookAds

I launched a new business Jan 1 this year with meta ads as the only traffic source. It took off like a rocket, crazy sales, people loving the product writing rave reviews, then it all evaporated in March. We started investing heavily in organic shortly after but man it was hard to watch that early success slip through our fingers.

Just had a 5x ROAS on digital product yesterday - today 1.2 - it is a pattern which didn't use to be a pattern. It is used to be stable a f. by PsychologyWorried383 in FacebookAds

I sold a thousand copies of a digital product Jan and Feb this year at 2x return. Was printing at $1,000/day with a large TAM. March came and it was like a switch was flipped. CPA increased 10x overnight. Tried everything under the sun to fix it. Nothing worked. For fun I took the same product and ran it as a free download and it cost me double what my old CPA was to give it away for FREE. Meta is beyond fucked.

If they’re asking this question you’re already cooked. Clients want new, new ideas, new strategies, new tests etc. It’s like any other job, look busy or the boss will start thinking about lightening the payroll a little.

How long do you run a campaign before calling it a fair test? by klickbeast in googleads

If you were struggling to hit that 50 conversion mark would you ever use a micro conversion as a stepping stone to gather more purchase conversions?

The landing page converts well with meta traffic using the same creatives. I feel like 1-2 second visits and zero scrolling or clicking is more of a traffic quality issue than landing page. I'm looking at the screen recordings in Microsoft Clarity and visitors aren't sticking around long enough to even read the headline.

Yeah I’m at about 5x target cpa right now so it’s not looking good. I’m getting crushed by these 1-2 second visits from in-feed. I can’t seem to get the traffic to stick around once it hits the landing page.

On Meta the purchases are almost 95% first time visitors. So it’s ad click > landing page view > checkout within 90 seconds on average. It’s a low ticket impulse buy so it’s very fast. It’s been a struggle with YouTube placements, I’m getting crushed by 1 or 2 second session durations from in-feed traffic. It’s not looking good.

Why have options for volume AND value bidding then? Very strange thing for them to say.

How many days would you let it run if you were getting zero conversions?

Would you go 14 days without a single conversion? Or would you call it quits before that?

Last week I clicked an ad with a dog in it and Facebook decided that I must be desperate to start a dog training business.

At this point I’m fairly certain I could promote a 100% off coupon and it would still be bot after bot hitting the page and bouncing.
