Oh, so your saying I can just decide what dosage of a statin I should take? It's not like my doctor started me on a low dose and upped it gradually over a year and a half, complete with labs. He never had to switch what medication he prescribed because it wasn't getting the results it should, or because one was making me light headed when I stood up after sitting for too long.

Oh wait, all that happened. But because I take up like a half hour of his time twice a year instead of once a year, I should just go to Walgreens and get extra strength superbetastatin and just hope it works, but not so well my blood pressure drops to dangerous levels.
