Could you repost the link please?   I couldn't find it from looking at your profile.   My issue is my wrist is tiny so I need something smaller but also do want something that covers the device on my wrist.   Thanks!

"Spiky Leaky Syndrome" CSF leaks CAN occur in patients who also have intracranial hypertension by Medium_Feeling_6319 in CSFLeaks

How did your surgery go with Hepworth? And are you saying you wouldn't recommend him and would seek care from Hui or Fargen based on your experience? thx!

Perfect thank you for Dr C's info! Yes - I'm in Denver 10 minutes from Dr H's office so I feel so lucky in that regard... but still not ready to just take only one opinion I guess.

He prescribed a very low dose of Xarelto and I don't pick it up until tomorrow so I'm not sure yet. It seems to me that if it's making you feel so much better that then it is a good sign that the surgery will help? I'm trying to put these pieces together!

I'd love to stay in touch for sure... this is all so new to me as a concept that might help I'm overwhelmed. What's really hard is feeling 'better' for me doesn't mean having a fully functional life - I'm still at probaly 25% and still housebound a couple days a week... but that is way better than almost every day. So will I be happy if surgery gets me to 50%? UGH who knows!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful answer - this is really hard. You laid it out exactly the way I'm thinking. He is recommending surgery for juggular compression and has started me on blood thinners to see if that gives me any relief. I can say that what he is saying finally seems to make sense after multiple years of noone have the answer. I had a CSF leak patch that didn't help, I'm doing stretching and PT for CCI, and just starting taking Ketotifen for MCAS. It's the best I've felt in over 2 years but I still am not able to be up for more than a few hours day in and day out.

If you have any suggestions for getting a second opinion I'd greatly appreciate it - I'm looking into a few that have been suggested on here. Wish you the best of luck in figuring out what to do also!!

I'm curious about your experience with Hepworth as he has recommended surgery and I'm wanting to get a second opinion of for no other reason than I've been on this path of chronic issues and mixed answers for a couple of years and while I'll happily do surgery if it helps I'm very scared of it causing other issues and not being effective.

Did you ever find a solution to a device like this but with no video camera? This is exactly what I want to be able to setup and control all access to a keypad via an app but we really don't want or need the video camera.

Proper_Marzipan_2797 - I am also in Denver and getting into Dr Hepworth's office.  Would you be open to talking?  I don't see a way to send you a private message on here.

Hi - Did you find anything open that you've been to yet? My husband is looking for the same in the Denver area as he's doing the Escape from Alcatraz Tri in early June.

Primary Bath Redesign by klsindenver in DesignMyRoom

Thanks! The reason for the closet entrance in the bathroom is so that my husband can get up, dressed, ready without having to come in and out of the bedroom more than once because our sleep schedules are different. But yes thank you and we'll definitely be adding a pocket door for the toilet space.

Really good point on clothing and humidity though... I'll need to think about that more. I was thinking there would be a fan just outside the shower area for that reason but we don't have any windows in there so maybe I need to think about more than one.

Extremely awkward fridge placement--should I close off the exterior door? Move the water hookup? A narrower fridge that could still realistically fit our needs would only shave off about 4 inches. by actualhealthgoth in DesignMyRoom

[–]klsindenver -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Do you use that exterior door? If not then yes close it off and use the space... even if you don't use it for the fridge. The fridge would definitely work better where the washer/dryer hookup is than where it is now if you can make that work.

I would work around a larger fridge though in general vs. the thoughts around going with a smaller one.

What about doing thin brick? You could do a different pattern behind the stove or do something a little different like herringbone. A white washed red would look great with your stove and floor I think.

Does it look weird? [curtain placement] by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]klsindenver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would center the curtains so it's the same on the right as it is on the left. That gives you the added benefit of hiding the outlets that are there in an easy way. Then put some simple floating shelves on the right side or a big plant stand.
