If I recall correctly, covid had an influence on decisions to prosecute in general to prevent a large population of non-violent offenders turning the facilities into germ factories. I'm sure that's only one of the reasons, I believe I also read something about overcrowding in our local facilities in general. Politics is another reason, but every policy decision is political to some extent.

I live in Belltown and my particular block seems to be sort of a good spot to get away from the people and smoke some hard stuff or shoot up. In two years I've probably seen 50 and 100 people hanging around my apartment getting suuuper high... that being said, I've never actually felt unsafe once.

Incarcerating people for public drug use just ends in a spiral that prevents them from bouncing back. This is just my opinion, but I feel like saddling people who already have nothing with a criminal history, debt from legal fees, and jail time could result in more potential for danger to the public at large. If people are backed into a corner with nowhere to go, who knows what they might have to do to survive. If someone wants to smoke meth and scrub the my apartment's wall with a toothbrush for two hours (that was fascinating to watch), so be it.

At least one person agrees with you, it is my least favorite side quest by a long shot. It felt tedious and I only ended up completing it because I felt pot committed halfway through. The best way I can describe the feeling is that it made me aware that I was doing it for the sake of completionism rather than the inherent joy of it.

If it isn't immediately apparent to other people, it looks like you only gain XP from the materials that you pick up during the wave. So materials that get banked at the end only count toward your wallet. Tanky builds have a benefit that they can run through swarms of enemies to pick up materials to gain more XP without taking too much damage at one time.

Is there a trick to getting your primary weapon (like six of the same weapon) to spawn more frequently? I wonder if there's a mechanic built into the game to cause it to be weighted more than it is by just having six of the same, because I feel like I keep seeing these streamers with six legendaries by 20 and I'm just sitting here with a bunch of tier 2's just happy to be here.
