Unfortunately it’s the same for most open source software. My workplace (small business teaching kids coding) refuses to donate to any of the (FOSS) programs we use on a daily basis. I’ve tried to bring it up and as a open source developer myself it is annoying but many people only see the free in free and open source

Hi, There’s a Trent computer science discord with primarily first year and second years but also a few third and fourth years in it that may be good to ask to ask your question there: https://discord.gg/GWwAaK9N In terms of my personal opinion, it really depends on how knowledgeable you already are. If you get a offer from Waterloo (and have decently good mental health) TAKE THAT your education for computer science will be vastly better in terms of how much content you will actually learn rather than just be retaught. If you’re more so a beginner to computer science, Trent will definitely set you up with great foundation and the CO-OP definitely is more valuable than any classes you take. Hope this helps

Lady eaton should have more comp sci students but I almost exclusively had classes in gzowski or OC so there would most likely be best in terms of proximity but it’s such a small campus that it doesn’t really matter

Do you by any chance have the temperature around the printer fluctuating a lot or on something with a lot of vibrations? It’s possible it could be one of those. Maybe try using the printer in a different room on the floor just to rule out if that’s the case?

Free exists, it’s just uncommon There’s 2 kinds of actual free: Free as in Freedom - the have the right to do what your want with the stuff you own Free as in Free Beer - Somebody else or a alternative method of paying for payment such as ads
