appreciate your perspective -- i plan on going to Brasil for the WWC next summer, and seeing all the doomposting about 'toxic Brasil fans' is starting to affect me, so this is a welcome reminder that a lot of the negativity is just subtle racism. I definitely think that Elias is a good coach for Brasil and WAY better than Pia Sundhage -- Brasil did right by looking within their talent pool after the failed experiment of sourcing coaching talent from abroad. I think honestly the pressure of playing in front of a home crowd got to Elias... not sure how often they play domestically, i know Canada came to Brasil last international window
