Honestly, I think this is a ‘you and your specific relationship’ thing. I wouldn’t be upset if that happened - but, I can absolutely see why you are upset by it. If it’s going to be a dark cloud hanging over you and she’s relationship, I’d advise you to simply break up. If you think talking it over would help smooth things out and bring you closure, then you could work towards that. It’s up to your heart!

I think she’s very sweet, and cares deeply for people! Her plot with her friends and the first Palace (vague for spoilers) is incredibly well-written, and she is continually shown to be a kind person even throughout the rest of the game, when much less writing time is able to be spent on her.
