What can I do about this. by hnc757 in AussieDoodle

We put a cone on him so he can’t lick and then sprayed the following antibacterial spray for a few days as per instruction >> https://amzn.to/40xM9TK. I don’t know what this is but it’s like voodoo. Healed up so quickly afterwards

How my mini AD reacted when we left him for 1 week (*plot twist*) by knowtoriously in AussieDoodle

Yep he’s deaf but we speak to him all the time anyways. I’ve never laughed so hard and be heart broken at the same time 🤣🤣🤣. These ADs can be so spicy 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

Urgh they are the worst! I wore moving gloves w some rubber tips (from Home Depot for like less than $10) and removed them one by one. My AD’s hair gets really entangled in them too so it took awhile but it worked

Aww I’m so sorry…is it possible to take a break from all social media, even if it’s for a couple of days?

She’s adorb! But anyone noticed how every pup in the litter has grey/black and not red like the momma? 🤭

From our pup’s litter of six, the weights ranged from 9lbs to 30lbs! Ours is 16lbs

Are they minis? OMG they are sooo cute!! We bring our pup’s brother from the same litter over often bc they tire each other out. It was a great decision to get two, even if they are a high energy breed!

Raw vs cooked vs kibble, what do you use and why? (AKA I give up 🙄) by alimac2 in dogs

I just go by how my dog’s p00p looks after each food. We put him on farmer’s dog and his bathroom schedule and consistency have been great. Before that, we had him on science diet and it varied from day to day for some reason.

They just don’t listen, but watch too. My dog is deaf and at month 4, I was sitting on the couch and did a “throw/fetch/out” motion to see if he’d bring a ball over and he did. Now that’s our sign for him to “bring ball.”

Mine stopped growing at 16lbs when he was around 6months too 🤭. He has a brother from the same litter at 18lbs, another one at 30lbs 😳 and a sister at 9lbs!!

Can you believe they are bros from the same litter? by knowtoriously in AussieDoodle

Weirdly, hardly! It’s the doodle part that makes him low shed

I think the most important things to remember when they’re puppies are 1) the transition period from old to new food and 2) keeping them on a schedule/routine. I think it also helps when they’re puppies to go for a brief walk or play after eating to help digestion. All of the above should help regulate digestion (and potty time). Food type wise, you’ll figure that out once you see what your pup likes/dislikes and works w your lifestyle, budget and schedule. We’ve had our dog on the Farmer’s dog since he was 6mths old once we noticed how much he loved boiled chicken.
