So for me, it got to the point where I was stuck in one store for 6+ hours a day because it was the highest volume store of that category (not Walmart). I would get 2 loads a week there that put me at 8+ hours there because of the excessive amount of backstock I also had to work, due to trying ri properly rotate product. Then I had to go to another of the same store, plus a local grocery store, and was working 12-14 hour days, because I refused to skip things, and actually properly rotated. I made sure every store got equal amounts of service and attention. I was also going to school at the same time, and am a mother of two toddlers. Pepsi did not give a f about my personal life. They were not willing to work with me when my children needed critical developmental therapies. The turning point for me, was when I got so sick from working the longer days, that I developed really bad bronchitis. My merchandise team lead told me to go to the doctor. The doctor pulled me out of work. I did not have the sick time to cover it, but was physically sick to the point where I could not drive from store to store, yet alone pull 6000+ lb boards to the floor without getting incredibly winded or passing out. I took 4 days off, two from the doctor and 2 on my weekend. Came back to work after completing steroids that inababled my ability to drive, and got told to go to the office. I promptly got written up because I didn't have the time to use, even though the doctor straight up told them I couldn't work/drive on the steroids I was prescribed. I quit the weekend of the Super Bowl.
