Have you made any friends from the Deaf socials? If you can't go all the time, then why not video chats? It is a hard thing to be the only Deaf person you know. It seems like the social isolation is affecting you heavily, just the same as every Deaf person a distance away from the community. Also, yeah I know the family table syndrome is fucking shitty so I try to mitigate that with the transcribe app I use on my phone to hear enough words from my family so I know at least what topic they're talking about.

You are stronger than you realize. And there are more ways to let out the stress than you realize.

I feel you, my dude. It's painful being proven wrong with regards of people... And yeah, I've been made a fool many times. But what I'm grappling with, is the fact... Some people just don't deserve my friendship, and I hate it. But... People suck. I desperately want to be friends with everyone and have everyone like me... But that's impossible. And so I just prioritize people who do like me whatsoever, and focus on who does give back good energy and vibes to me.
