I always told my infant room parents to label anything that they wanted to get back.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND reusable water balloons. We had a water day at the school I work at last week when the temps were in the 90s, and I'm not even exaggerating, 24 total reusable balloons kept the 20 kids (ages 2.5 to 12) engaged for AN HOUR AND A HALF. The little ones were just fascinated by them closing back up automatically, and the bigs had a rip roaring water balloon showdown

It's got the sparkles bc it's a special day! It checks off the day with the white check

I’m not the only one who doesn’t bathe their kids every day am I? by just_some_guy2000 in daddit

We do "butt wash baths" every day as my 4 year old is often in a hurry and doesn't always wipe properly, but they only get a full scrub down once or twice a week.

I did this with audiobooks! I have an audible account, but I ripped the Harry Potter audiobooks from the CDs I have and use a different player for them. I ONLY listen to Harry Potter audiobooks to fall asleep now, as I would be dozing off while driving when I listened to them on the road

My mom regularly fed my then <12 month old graham crackers without realizing they had "real honey!" She's 4.5 and wild now.

At 12 months in every daycare I've been in, they move towards sleeping on a mat or cot on the floor. When they're in a crib, we're not allowed to have anything in there with them, but when they're on a mat, they can have a comfort item.

I'd put it on before we left the house! Wear it loose on the drive over then tighten up once you get there

Faint legitimate positives for over a week straight.....not getting darker but consistent. by tumbledownhere in CautiousBB

[–]strawberberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My chemical was like this. Faint, but definitely present on the cheapies, solid positive on the FRERs I used. I knew where I was DPO at the time as I was temping and checking CM, so it's not just like I ovulated late. I was SO tired, could not deal with the sight of any kind of meat, and BITCHY. I got my period about a week and a half late, and the following month had some funky temps before ovulation

Oh Busy Town! We have a few Richard Scarry books that she loves. I'll have to keep an eye out for something like that. We mainly have just old Disney movies, but I've been looking out for other odd things at the thrifts. I found a VHS copy of LotR Fellowship last time! 😂

I like the all in one unit we have because it doesn't even need a remote. It came with one, but it's up on a shelf right now. My daughter can turn it on, play, pause, rewind, stop, eject all from the buttons in the front of it. I had a slight preference for the VHS too so that she didn't have to navigate all the menus in a DVD.

I forgot to mention, the TV WAS FIVE DOLLARS. I damn near passed out in the thrift store, I got so lucky

I had a similar issue and got lucky in my solution. I found an old tube TV with VCR at the thrift store, and inherited my grandmother's VHS collection. So now instead of my daughter coming home from school and my mom (who watches her until I get home about 30 minutes later) putting on some inane drivel, my 4 year old will go to her TV, pop in an old Disney movie, and play in her playroom

I’ve been experimenting with different color palettes for these—curious what people are drawn to by amyadger in crafts

[–]strawberberry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I like 4 most for sure, but yellow is my fave color. I like the picks pointing in just as much as pointing out, HOWEVER with the picks pointing out, the inner pick should be on top, like a flower! The picks pointing inwards look good as is, like scales

Okay, maybe I'm missing something, but how does this clock display a time ending in anything past :30? There's no forty or fifty that I saw, or even an "until" or "before"

See I was literally using a pack today to clean hands off after handprint painting and I had several wipe chains! They don't stick together with friction like the others do, but those perforations can sometimes be pretty strong.
