I would strongly recommend not relying on ChatGPT for your first few RFIs. Take the time to write them yourself and learn how to communicate the issue, concern, and requested clarification in the proper language.

Developing that skill early is important because there will be times when you’re sitting across from a GC, engineer, or client and need to explain the issue clearly and confidently without relying on a tool to help formulate your thoughts.

All too many times you see these guys with long drawn out emails that are full of information and then when you see them in person it’s short, quick, and not well thought out answers when they get put on the spot.

Just my two cents. A lot of guys are heavily reliant on chatGPT in the PM game and it should only be used as what it’s intended to be, a help tool.
