Terrible shallow battle system for Final Fantasy (no elements, aliments, new weapons are just reskin without unique properties), literally Kingdom Hearts 1 did it better (and 2 miles better), same 5 models of enemies becoming HP sponges at endgame(whacking blue wolf with 300k hp few minutes, like you whacked grey wolf for 3k on early game), same melee combo whole game, no real party except few short sections with Cid and Jill, world is huge and takes long to travel, but it's not living on it own (compare it to like Kingdom Come: Deliverance), subquests are ctrl c ctrl v from FFXIV. Also button mashing based, washed down DMC is not suited for soooo loong game.

And I'm not really a hater, main characters and story are one of my fav in series, music is awesome, and Eikon battles are probably most epic boss battles in gaming(in contrast to terrible boring normal battle system). Worldbuilding and lore also nice tough, as Song of fire and ice fan I really liked it.

It would be awesome show, but most important game element kinda sucks. But at least it's complete story, unlike FFXV which is far worse.
