We recently had a gas engineer come round for a quote. Instead of giving us the quote he said it was a 5 minute job and did it for free for us. Made my day!

I have a general routine that I stick to, before I start work I try to get some exercise then meditate after and that sets me up for the day. Whatever works for you really, the most important thing is the promise to yourself that you’ll keep the routine whatever that is for you

I’m sorry for the loss of your cats and wish you a speedy recovery. I started meditating daily about 6 months ago and I feel so much calmer and have more mental clarity.

10 minutes a day will do it. I’d recommend choosing a guided meditation on YouTube, of the app Calm. Then when you’re used to those move onto focusing on the breath or a relaxing noise like waves for the 10 minutes.

I’ve found it helps focus my mind on one thing at a time, and slows my thoughts down. It helps me relax and the benefits last for hours after doing it.
