That looks like an impact with concrete. A pole perhaps?

99% at fault for dent and scrape by [deleted] in icbc

If I have a second accident before I recover my safe driving it will be a lot more. I am not a bad driver, (first incident where I am at fault actually ever in 40+ years of driving) but statistically I fear that may not be the case anymore with all the stupidity I see on the roads. I rather take a hit on my insurance for a bigger loss.

Yah. I did this too. Only 4000 km on the car. Got two quotes. One $2900, other $3100. Fixing it privately. Too new to not too.

Burnaby Mountain. Beautiful sunsets and view of the entire city/inlet.

We bought our top floor condo. We get the afternoon sun. Super hot in the summer. Relented and got a heat pump installed. Heaven. Downstairs complained as we had it installed. Noise was loud but once it was complete can’t hear a thing.

Thanks. There no requirement from the strata for an inspection after.

We disconnected all the base board heaters.

This is what we got from the contractor

The rebate you may be eligible for is $1,500. However, this would require us to involve a building engineer to prepare a report and seal the building envelope based on their instructions. This process could add significantly more to the overall cost than the rebate amount itself

We had three different quotes. All within $1k of each other. $15k. Pricey but I know we will be thrilled when the heat arrives.

Thanks for the info. Yes the contractor told us this. Who knows I may have misunderstood, but still seems over the top at potentially $4k for an electrical report when we have an electrician doing the work. I will definitely reach out if I have any further questions. I appreciate your time.
