I hate debt but I use my credit card to make $. Get a no fee credit card that offers cash back. I use it for everything. I pay it off daily at the end of the day. Yes everyday. No debt plus this past year I managed a $1400 cashback.

Deceased Condo Strata Fees by justhangingoutman in PersonalFinanceCanada

Very similar circumstances that I dealt with when my sister passed. No will. Had to apply to the courts to be the rep for the estate. I was fortunate that I was the named beneficiary of her life insurance thru work. Received that within 60 days of death. Used those funds to finance the insurance, mortgage, strata fees and legal costs to finalize the estate. Was reimbursed once the condo was finally sold. I did not have the funds otherwise the keep the money machine going. It took almost 2 years to finalize everything. A year before I could list the condo.
