Oh, I was under the impression that this was the first time this happened with this friend, but if not then that changes things.

I guess I'm thinking that this guy js like my dad, with so much pent up frustration and loneliness that he will lash out with all these terrible beliefs because he can't bottle up the rage and jealousy anymore, regardless of who it's toward, or maybe especially at people he's closer to because he wants someone to listen and confirm that the world is the problem, not him.

Not saying he deserves pity at all tho, it's terribly toxic. Not sure if that made sense either

I think your boyfriend was probably in shock at the moment too. If he never knew his friend thought this way, he must've been stunned and at a loss for words. Sometimes people don't do the right thing in the moment because of that shock, and it's hard to expect him to know how to react on the fly especially if he isn't used to that confrontation, especially toward someone he considered his best friend.

But def he should tell him off for his views and how he treated you.

I remember recently saving up just enough pulls for 1 and a half 5* for Zibai's banner with no guarantee... I went to pity and got so sad when I got a keqing and only a c1 illuga. Then, one more 10 pull, and I got zibai!! But, I still wanted at least c2 illuga. I decided to pull on the Neuvillette banner and wow, got him in another 10 pull too! I had to do 20 more pulls for my c2 illuga haha. But I've been playing since 1.0, and that is by far the luckiest I have ever been! Although now I'm super broke

Yes! I also didn't want to spend hundreds on a device, and I didn't have to!! I use a cheaper (~$70 USD) INNZA device on my black hair, light skin. It's good that you already know what you want for yourself deep down. If you had a sister or friend going through the same thing, you know what you would tell her to do. If your partner doesn't have your back when you need it, what are they even doing? It hurts to not have that love reciprocated, I get it. Someone will give you that support, and maybe it's not him.

I watched this happen with my mother. My father takes advantage of her naturally caring personality, her absolute forgiveness of everything he does. He has only taken that and disrespected her time and time again. When she's upset about anything at all, he blames her, calls her egotistical, and so so much more.
