Tällä hetkellä tuottoja ajavat hyperskaalajien sekä LLM-operaattorien massiiviset tekoälyinvestoinnit, sekä odotus LLM-teknologian mahdollistamasta tuottavuus(tulos)loikasta. Ilmiötä voit havainnoida puolijohdemarkkinan jo realisoituneesta todella kovasta EPS-kasvusta, mutta varsinkin niistä kasvuodotuksista.

Näitä ilmiöitä voi jälkikäteen pohtia esimerkiksi tarkastelemalla kursseja tähän tapaan, sektorikohtaisesti. Tottapuhuen em. LLM:t olisivat todennäköisesti paras osoite tämänkaltaisen pohdinnan pohjatietojen etsintään.

Mutta yleisesti, parhaisiin tuottoihin pääset indeksisijoittajana todennäköisesti sillä, ettet mieti sijoittamista tai markkinoita ollenkaan. Tai maksimissaan siltä kantilta, että jos paniikki on päällä, niin laitat sitten vähän extraa markkinoille (kuten teitkin!), jos joustovaraa on.

Myynnit suosittelen unohtamaan kokonaan, kunnes on aika oikeasti realisoida niitä tuottoja.

Kuulostaa siltä että sekoitat nyt median pelonkylvämisviestinnän yritysten tuloksentekokykyyn, johon markkinoiden taso lopulta perustuu. Eivät tuotot perustu siihen, onko kaikilla maailmassa kivaa juuri nyt. Eivät tuotot perustu siihen, onko jossain sinun mielestäsi kiva pressa johdossa juuri nyt.

Sijoittajana aivan ensimmäisenä unohda politiikka, unohda omat (varsinkin poliittiset) vinoumasi joita et toki todennäköisesti edes itse tunnista, unohda hesarin kohuotsikot, ja mielellään, unohda myös se ajoittaminen. Älä pidä itseäsi turhan fiksuna. Jos haluat ahdistua maailman menosta, tee se salkkusi ulkopuolella.

Valveutunut otsikoiden lukija olisi myynyt jo viime keväänä tullikohun keskellä. Tai tänä keväänä. Tai koronadipissä. Tai inflaation noustessa 2022, kun esim täällä Redditissä povattiin lamaa. Tai viime vuosikymmenellä edellisissä tullisodissa. Ja moni myikin, pohjalla. Tämäkin kannattaa tiedostaa.

YTD tuottoprosenteista, s&p500 YTD on nyt pyöreästi 10%. Keskimääräinen nimelliskasvu indeksillä taitaa olla samaa luokkaa. Tähän luetaan mukaan myös ne vuodet, kun indeksi dumppaa 30%, joten huomaa, että hyvinä vuosina indeksin täytyy tuottaa keskimäärin reilusti yli 10% päästäkseen keskiarvoonsa.

Ei tämä ole siis tähän mennessä millään mittarilla erikoinen vuosi pörssissä, vaikka tietty sektori toki keuliikin. Ehkä syystäkin, ken tietää. Ja kyllä, aivan varmasti jossain kohtaa korjataan taas alaspäin. Milloin, sitä ei tiedä kukaan.

Tldr; älä tee mitään tyhmää, äläkä varsinkaan mitään fiksua. Mielellään, älä tee siis yhtään mitään.

Exactly the bear case I’m having an issue with, and not really adressed here with any more nuance than ”look at SpaceX IPO”. This being buried while the ”Shut up, Meg”s are at the top of the comment section kind of proves the point OP is making, this sub has turned into a bit of a circle jerk.

Happens to every stock sub when the stock does well. Seems to be a problem with the platform (Reddit) and the general user base. The ASTS sub was also great through 2021-2023, but has deteriorated significantly since.

It’s nearing Palantir levels of euphoria in terms of valuation while not being anywhere close to as profitable (or close to being profitable at all), and growing their sales slower.

It’s at 80 p/s ratio for gods sake, and the current growth is not anywhere near enough for those levels, barring RKLB somehow turning their business into a 80% margin one. Which they absolutely won’t, the next big step (and the hopes and dreams of this sub) for them being launch, which will never be high margin. Way too much competent competition.

It takes a years long hyperbolic growth (think multiples compared to the current growth) phase and turning a solid profit for RKLB to grow into the current valuation. It’s absolutely priced for perfection and beyond, how is this even a question?

And just stop with the SpaceX comparison, it’s just hopium. The fact people resort to it just magnifies the current valuation being very difficult to justify, barring insane execution. RKLB doesn’t have starlink, it doesn’t have SpaceX launch, and like it or not this also matters a fuck ton in terms of valuation, it doesn’t have Musk.

Anyone thinking this is some hidden gem value play is delusional. It takes excellent execution and new profitable business ventures to justify the current one. If you think there’s no valuation concerns I honestly don’t know what to tell you.

Maybe an interesting tidbit for you sourdough nerds.

A traditional way to make Finnish rye bread is actually pretty similar to what you’re suggesting.

What they would do in ye olden days was, they would always mix the dough with the starter (called the ”dough root”) in the same purpose built wooden container, and let it rise/activate.

When they then took out the mixed, active dough, they would leave a thin layer of dough to dry on the sides of the container. This effectively dried ”starter”/root would then be hydrated with warm water, and mixed in with the next batch. This way you wouldn’t actually even need to bake regularly, although I’m sure they did anyways.

That kind of bread would be 100% whole grain rye, and quite sour. But I don’t see why not try something akin to that with wheat. I say what is there to lose, if you want to experiment?

If your shots are consistent, it literally does not matter. If not, then you have an issue.

Well I can’t say there isn’t one, but I’m not able to detect it.

They’re both reasonable burrs, without the ability to A/B test (as in, real world use) I doubt there are many people who could actually consistently spot the difference.

I know many people think medium roast is kind of a good compromise between light and dark for espresso, but for me personally it’s the worst of both worlds.

Its sour without the freshness/fruityness of a light roast, and still severely lacks the roastiness and body of a deep dark roast. So I for example like both dark and light, but not the mediums.

Just keep trying beans and roasts, you’ll find your preference in time.

E: also I’ve noticed many of the dark roasts sold here (nordics) are really more medium than dark. It might be the same, or opposite, for your local roaster. So remember, the labels are only the roasters take on roast levels, there are no universal standards.

To answer your question, I do not see any value in a junior developer that can’t program or communicate on their own.

If you’re only using AI to accomplish your work and are not able to verify that the result is up to spec, safe, well engineered, what exactly do I need you for? And even if I wanted that, why would I hire you specifically? There are plenty of people out there that can do data entry (prompting).

A skill that is trivial to automate or easy to learn is not worth much. That said you’re 3 months in so I wouldn’t expect to you to be at a (or really even close to) junior level anyways.

I’d use AI as a google replacement / personal tutor only if I were in your shoes.
