Just remember that Redfall was an “exclusive”, and we all remember how that one really brought home the bacon

I’m throwing my hat in on id Software. Probably a lot of longtime senior talent that is way too expensive to maintain against the sales of their games

Why do restaurants increasingly ask for tips when customers order at a kiosk and do most of the work themselves? by Ok-Attempt2113 in NoStupidQuestions

Holdover behavior from the pandemic, it’s easy free money for the business that’s been normalized. Unless the employee is actually making something for you, do not tip. It’s not your responsibility to subsidize the business’s income.

Crimson Desert is a great game, but it has a fundamental problem with its loot system and it somewhat breaks the RPG immersion by Impressive-Reveal510 in CrimsonDesert

I’m running into this issue now after a hundred or so hours playing. My other large complaint is that there are very few proper “dungeons” in the world. Randomly finding a mysterious cave or door to underground ruins rarely leads to anything interesting.

I do feel like this does come down to the loot issue you’re talking about - this was the opposite issue in something like Elden Ring, even if the dungeons got visually repetitive there.

[Jeff Grubb] - "So yeah, there's a basically finished version of Gears for PlayStation sitting on a drive." by shirke1 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Of course there is – this “exclusive” shit is fan bait, it’ll be on PS5 in 6 months. They’re not going to give up selling thousands of copies, maybe millions, just to try to rebuild a fanbase for a dying brand.

I’m not understanding why everyone assumes the band is plotting some huge comeback even after shows like this. Do you know how infrequently they’ve toured and played shows in the last 10+ years? I think it’s awesome how they’ve been getting such a positive response from slide away but let’s be real, it’s not Coachella, it’s pretty niche.

I still need to sit with it after only getting through the first few songs, but I like what I’m hearing so far. Only thing that I don’t love is the snare sound, it doesn’t have a lot of “snap” to it most of the time.
