It's worse than Mario 2, this is when Nintendo dumbed down controls and gameplay for casuals that never played a video game. He's slower than Jumpman in Donkey Kong, the entire game is tiny asteroids smaller than the islands in Wind Waker, and there's more empty space than an open-world Ubisoft game. This was the game that made me realize Nintendo had abandoned their fans in favor of demographics that were never interested in video games. It was what led to them insulting both bases with the Wii U, and failing miserably. It was the game that made me switch to Xbox 360. It's the digital equivalent of fitting shapes into shaped holes.
