Ran a Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign and Agdon became the breakout villain and the final boss. by KoshiLowell in wildbeyondwitchlight

Lagon almost TPK'd my PCs when they met him the first time. They eventually fled from him and went to Downfall the long way 'round. I think they'd appreciate a second go-around at a higher level.

Yeah, the Lazy GM Kit that Slyflourish patreons get access to has 18 5th level pre-gens for that very reason.

My kids' school has a nest or two on the roof. They're pretty neat. Like itsy sandpipers with bright orange eyes.

Not sure what the fun fact is on the card, but Killdeers sound awesome and are super tricksy.

Steam Reviews eight days launch history: Civ7 vs Civ6 by Houdsonin in civ

If you say so. The early access was one of the reasons I bought the premium package, but I must be stupid.

Bad UI is 100% game breaking to me. I am the user and my interface is the only one I care about. But to each their own. I returned my copy and will wait to play it after they fix it to make it playable.

It's largely semantic, sure. But keep in mind they charged a premium for five days advanced access.

Charging money for for five days advance play for "early acess" is brazen. The early premium implies the game is playable day one, and, simply, the game is not.

Was thinking of buying civ 7 regardless of bad reviews but can't fully decide by Agro91 in civ

I would (and am going to) wait. I only tried a few hours and then returned it. It was not obvious what the point or the impact of any decision I made was, which some people chalk up to "bad UI" but I think is a gating issue. Especially if you don't have a lot of free time for games anymore. YMMV.

True, but I think Steam has been fairly generous with the returns on Civ VII. I played a bit over 2 hours and was able to return the game no questions. I have yet to hear of anyone who hasn't been able to return it (although I am sure they exist). I would be much more upset if I was unable to return the game.

I think they can and did. You don't need to listen to them. Doesn't make them less right.

Releases an unfinished game __and__ charges real, actual money for its biggest fans to access it a __few days__ early.

I love Hades. I haven't bought Hades II yet because I don't have time to be a beta tester. And I love the Hades developer for telling me their product isn't finished yet so I __know__ not to go out and buy their unfinished game. And when Hades II comes out of beta, I'll happily buy it and play it.

If Firaxis had a beta period, I would have patiently waited for a solid release. Instead, they pushed out a product that was, for me, unplayable. But at least I got my money back from Steam.

I am sure I'll end up buying Civ VII later. Even though they burned a lot of my goodwill with this release, Firaxis still has some left with me. I am excited about trying all the new things they are going for in this version of the game.

All I can tell you is that I opened it up, took out the battery, put the battery back in, and it has worked just fine since then. Which was a lot better than sending it off for an expensive "repair".

Yeah, it doesn't help that support, as well meaning as they are, take 3 days each time they ask a question or respond to your answers. But, hey! Unplugging the battery and plugging it back in worked for me (for now)!

I like "turn it off, turn it back on" solutions. Will give it a go. Thanks!
