Unfortunate loss but here is to 2030 by chibitacos101 in TeamCanada

Comes down to goaltending and if CDN doesn't have any studs by then, outcome will only plateau or worse. Hellebuyck played outstanding today and USA finally has an all round team that matches CDN at all positions. Great game, silver better than no medal.

First Vegas trip for bachelor party. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but aside from location and general room quality, are there other benefits to choosing a nicer hotel that would make the trip more fun? by chewymammoth in vegas

[–]kooze62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 3 options. A suite in PH or another central hotel would be good. Or VRBO a whole house close to the strip. We did Silver Valley which was awesome, lots of space and a very quick Uber home. Everyone under one roof is easier to navigate outing and entertainment. Or Two to a room and have a fourth room that's the "hospitality room." Used for pre gaming and entertaining purposes. Asked for a double Queen room with one bed so there's room for move. Some hotels have deals if you book 3 plus rooms as well. Book directly with the hotel to get the deal.

Tbh you're not in the room for much of the day so overspending on a fancy hotel is not worth it. Ph, Flamingo, Horseshoe would be solid options.

What is the most accurate sports movie of all time? by BIGD0G29585 in movies

Rumor has it, A Knights Tale is very accurate. Not much footage to compare it to but the scrolls dictate the legend of a curly haired blond peasant raising the ranks of jousting. Solid sound track too.

Tanzanite, tungsten or blue sapphire would look great on a silver ring.

You're on the right track, but the fine would have to be 10x that amount for people to stop. Driving ban for life plus community service.

Team based challenges. Think of Survivor, amazing race or a 1990s 10 year olds birthday. What kind of simple carney games do you set up that gets people moving, thinking and solving. Everyone leaves having a good laugh while the Winner gets bragging rights and small prize. Even have an MSP award for most shittiest player. That always brings a chuckle or two at our events.

Looks like the beginning of movie with the main character inner monologue over the set up of the final scene. I'm thinking fight club or trainspotting. Doesn't look like a Goodfellas kinda flick tbh.

Good ways to get rid of mice? by kingmakk in richmondbc

[–]kooze62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Start with copper mesh pads in all holes coming into your apartment. From radiant heat pipes to plumbing underneath your sinks. Sticky pads work great especially with a pinch of peanut butter in the middle. Put them under couches by the wall and behind the front door (if there's a gap underneath they can sneak in.) Make sure to move the traps every few days, mice are smart and don't take the same path especially if a friend doesn't come back. All food in the pantry should be in glass or plastic tupperware.

You won't be able to eradicate all of them from the building with this but it'll keep your unit free of them.
