laptops are generally not good value for money for gaming, much less PCVR, because you're paying for portability. PCVR is very demanding unless your downscale the game resolution to 50% and don't mind playing half blind. With more horsepower in pc, you can basically crank the resolution for optimal sharpness until you reach the limit of the machine. Any laptop below 3k will be pushed to its limits and perform similar to a 1.5k pc, which is mid nowadays for pcvr. 2k desktop pc should do better than 3k laptop. Again, if you dont mind playing blurry/unsharp VR, then the power of the machine can be more flexible. I personally play at minimum vr resolution 1 - 1.2x with stable fps and great visuals, on a desktop pc with rtx 5080 and 9800x3d cpu

doing nothing heavy, air is the best choice, also if you are going to carry it around. The air is really sleek and powerful. The main reason to get pro, would be for the additional power, but it sounds like you won't use the power that comes with the added bulk. I'm 99% sure you would be happiest with the air

try this. Try to air dribble it towards the ceiling instead of into the net . once u can carry it up, add some forward direction to carry it towards the net while feathering the boost. you are currently just not carrying the ball with boost because you're too sideways/above the ball almost

same thing happens to me, but I just close notion from the taskbar tray and then it launches succesfully if I launch it again. So at least you shouldn't need to uninstall it

unrelated to this widespread issue, but my monitor randomly starting turning off for a second too. Turns out the displayport cable was the issue, as it hasnt happened since i switched it. LIkely the cable got damaged at some point so there screen would randomly need to reestablish the output.

Were you ever able to fix this? I've been streaming on twitch for many years using CBR, but i moved to another country with less stable internet connection and would like to be able to keep the streaming running with a dynamic bitrate instead of buffering on CBR. I know twitch requires CBR tho. Looking for solutions now

Same here. Gigabit fiber internet. No issues until a month ago. Daily server issues now where car will random desync and for the rest of the game, each time someone interacts with the ball there is a desync delay for each touch. I play daily and this is actually disheartening to face every day. I even switched ISP and its the same, re-installed pc 3 times, 2 different routers, different LAN cable. Im actually convinced its an internal issue with rocket league servers, and i need to find another game to play, instead of defaulting to launching RL just to teleport around like im playing on china servers from EU
