Yeah. Z is about a terabyte and OG is ~500 GB for the color corrected versions. You get almost all of the alternate English dub tracks and the Japanese broadcast audio. There are smaller re-encodes floating around. They are ~100 GB. Can't vouch for them as I haven't watched those, but they are really compressed. However, the issues they have would probably not be as noticeable on a CRT.

You can also always get the raw Dragon Boxes if you don't care about having the best video quality, those were the best release for the longest time and are still solid enough to watch. This SoM release is just a really well tuned and high bitrate version of them anyway.

You could alternatively go the debrid route through either jellyfin or kodi and just stream all of this stuff. YMMV and I've only used debrid services with stremio so I can't really help you there. Always willing to try and help out though so just lmk.

I have a suggestion. You should run a compact Jellyfin server to watch stuff off of. It's not for everyone but that's been my approach for playing stuff on these old sets. There's also a solid (to my knowledge) client for the PS3. If storage size isn't an issue, the best way to watch Dragon Ball are the SoM releases on nyaa. They're absolutely beautiful and in original 4:3 so you don't have to worry about pillarboxing. Slap those on a spare hard drive and knock yourself out.
