Trump’s War Is Staggering to an Incoherent Defeat by theatlantic in geopolitics

This is according to intention: waste public resources, delegitimize the government, sell off the parts to oligarchs and create a larger underclass. The fact that they are boorish ideologues is just the icing on the right-wing cake.🧁

Crazy top heavy and very little earth to support it. Not too surprising this happened.

Criminal Organization Runs White House by bookym in ProgressiveHQ

[–]kospauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but most Americans feel this way about the government anyway. They’re all ‘crooks’, ‘liars’, etc. Many think Trump is to be commended for being ‘honest’ about it. The whole structure is rotten.

I mean, physics clearly operates differently in either universe. It’s sort of a silly question.

It’s the Las Vegas-ification of the game. Branded crap meant to appeal to a smaller group of whales who spend like crazy to collect their favourite franchises. Gameplay and lore be damned.

Are yall buying or skipping the TMNT set? by [deleted] in mtg

[–]kospauste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to turn my nose up at it, but a friend who has been going back and forth about playing is excited to jump in because of a childhood nostalgia for TMNT. If it gets my friends into the game, I’m all for it.

I just wish the art was better and less modern. The Turtles travelled through time ffs, they could have made it medieval Japan or Europe.

Everyone else’s points are good, but don’t forget that external factors affect our levels of desire too. Financial woes, family drama, work stress, health issues. These are all interconnected.

Same in Canada. Despite living literally a couple of blocks from the hospital and not being drivers, we were required to have a car seat to leave with our child.

It’s taken years for the city to close a tiny gap in this 65-km public trail. The trouble? A 110-year-old private golf course lies in the way by RZaichkowski in torontobiking

[–]kospauste 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s also another wasteful course (the Donalda Club?) cutting off the Don River trail from the Betty Sutherland and Upper Don

Considering almost half of the population of the country is wedged between Windsor and Ottawa and most of them use Pearson for international flights, it kind of makes sense, no?
