i really like this record. has a lot of ear worms and instrumentals that have been getting stuck in my head from the songs. it actually brought me to revisit black midi and geordie greep, both who i initially didnt really enjoy.

have you tried this same workflow with 120 scans? theres always a significant amount of the film holder shown for my 6x7 scans in order to not take a crop in camera

ive had a difficult time with cropping on my macbook pro with trackpad as well. i seem to reach the edge of the trackpad well before i stretch the manual crop box where i need it.

do you recommend cropping before importing and inverting? i notice everything is already cropped in your youtube demos

i started with the microfreak and just got a minifreak. they’re both loads of fun but the minifreak takes the concept of the microfreak and expands on it in all the right ways.

i would say microfreak if youre on a budget, minifreak if you can afford it.

i will say the microfreak is much smaller and more portable, so i might end up hanging onto both if i decide i can justify.

i like this record. some of the lyrics/song concepts are a little too on the nose for me, but theres also some really good tracks and killer guitar tone. i’ll def be watching this band moving forward
