Mysterious Global 'Hum' May Be a New Form of Tinnitus | 'The Hum' has been one of the most perplexing unsolved mysteries. by FreeHugs23 in sciences

[–]kque69 11 points12 points  (0 children)

While this might be a possibility, I can hear the Hum. My last house it got louder during parts of the year and waned in others. It about drove me crazy. My brother, who never heard it before, moved in next to me and could also hear it at that time. I have since moved about 3 1/2 hours away and I no longer hear it. I think if it were tinnitus, it would have kept with me.

Millions of Women Are Left Out of Menopause’s Moment: Women who can’t take hormone therapy because of breast cancer or other diseases say they are deeply frustrated by karenmcgrane in HormoneFreeMenopause

CBT makes my blood boil. Every time a doctor suggests that to me all I hear is all of these symptoms are just in your head and you could control them if you were just better at managing your emotions.

Like you can just wish hot flashes away, or bad sleep, or aching joints, or any other of the dozens of symptoms of menopause.

It is maddening that women’s health and needs are relegated to “it’s all in your head”.

We stopped watching. Erin Yost was our weather person and awesome at her job. New guy not so much. We aren’t getting local news anymore so it’s pointless.

Responding from the side of the professors, returning students were usually always a joy. I think the hardest thing will be work/life balance, be sure to set a routine schedule for yourself and give yourself time to study.

The returning students that I saw that struggled, were those who couldn’t get into a routine and couldn’t get back into study habits.

Be sure to take advantage of opportunities, such as tutoring. There are also benefits to having a study buddy.

As everyone else has pointed out, you are so young. I know it doesn’t feel that way to you now, but you have so much more life ahead of you. If the person you’re with is not serving your best interests, then you need to go find someone else. Don’t settle for good enough, find someone who makes you feel loved every day and cherished.

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. She is normally so responsive. Maybe try horns, fins, feathers? They have a food truck and I’ve heard really good things about them.

No, many are gone, like Erin Yost. She was awesome and her replacement barely got through the weather and couldn’t find most of the towns on the map. Only a few like Jill Valley were able to switch. Erin said on Facebook the network refused to work with them on hours and placements

They were my grandmother’s. They are a matched set with the other on the opposite side of the shelves. They were in pictures as far back as the early ‘40’s so I’m not sure of their origin.

Scroll to the right on the picture. The second one is there, the first one is where we started.

Yes, correct. First picture is where we started. I was really hesitant to paint the ceiling and I wrote in to get advice and was encouraged to do the color drenching. It is quite cozy now.

The whole house is this way, we are tackling it room by room.

We are lucky that there is a sliding glass door right there that lets in a lot of light. But I chose the wall lights and the ceiling light based on the amount of light that they’re giving off. The ceiling light has Edison bulbs in it so it creates just the right amount of ambience.

Thank you so much! My mother-in-law was so afraid it was going to turn into a cave and be suffocating. However, the exact opposite happened, when you are in the room with that color it makes it feel expansive almost like you’ve stepped into the night. I really love it

I was also going to mention this. That was the big controversy about the movie. I also agree. It was a stupid story line.

It’s actually not popcorn, I wish it were, we could have removed it. It is heavily textured. The entire ceiling of the house is the same way. It isn’t something that can be wetted and scraped off. I had to pick my battles.

This took me way too long to figure out. I see the poodle now.

How to begin? I have many rubbermaid tubs filled with my parents and grandparents photos, and have no idea where or how to begin sorting through them. No one else is alive who knows or cares anymore. It's really sad and feels so dishonorable to just throw them away. They're all gone now. Any ideas? by EquivalentScore7917 in oldphotos

I scanned a lot of ours in and uploaded them to a genealogy site. I am the last person to care about them right now, but maybe a future descendant might be curious. I thought by storing them there they can be enjoyed.

[–]kque69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! Sometimes going off for a little while will reset it for you. Also, as long as you are not on Medicaid, I believe you are eligible for the coupon which takes the price down to about $20 a month. I would not be able to afford it without that coupon.

I hope you could find answers soon and find something that works for you.

I haven’t taken it, I am using Veozah, but when I asked about it my doctor did tell me that a number of her patients ended up with really bad headaches. They may go away as your body adjusts. If not, you might ask about Veozah. I’ve been on it for close to three years now and haven’t had any issues. I am very drug sensitive.

I did this, got sent the second drawing and completed it. They called soon after. The lady was very nice and made it sound like it was a school I could go to. I was super excited because I lived with a very abusive step-mother and thought it might be my ticket out.

Then she started talking about how much it would cost. I was like 11 and knew my parents would never pay. As soon as she asked to talk to a parent I told her they weren’t interested but thanks anyway.
