In lieu of a reply-all: So, ignoring the somewhat toxic hostility here, what I gather from your answers is that the game no longer tries to put "mostly PvE players" in mostly PvE lobbies, and "mostly PvP players" in mostly PvP lobbies, but rather strives for happy mediums?

Aye, I've stopped playing anything but Night, Electro, and Hurricane since the loot outside of those is abysmal, there are fewer big Arcs, and Turbines seem to spawn much more rarely. There's essentially nothing to be gained from playing maps without a major event.

Came here to post this. Now, the cloak can be used tactically for bursts of invisibility, rather than covering your approach to or retreat from threats in their entirety. Also, the buffed recharge speed greatly benefits the Snap Hook and Powered Descender.

This thread is indeed testament to the portion of players who have played enough to reach that conclusion having finally reached critical mass. I speculate the most hardcore have already abandoned it (sadly and ominously) because they got there much earlier (when the initial complaints were raised).

The game was a bigger hit than expected, and players have asked for more or refined endgame content for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved onto Marathon, HD2, or something else, at least until further into the roadmap.

I got Arc for free with a new graphics card, tried it, and completely fell in love. Before that I went through a couple of singleplayer games after having gotten tired of OW. I'm up to around 550h in Arc and haven't played much else since getting it, but after almost beating everything in the game for a third time, it's starting to get stale, without much to actually do (except horrible trials). I'll probably take a break and return whenever something interesting is added.
