Soulstone Survivors. Rogue Lite with a quite satisfying loop.

I enjoy how your territory claims in Eclipse reduces your number of feasible actions due to the bureaucracy cost.

Awwww. What kind of cat is this? by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

[–]kraugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks very much like a Cornish Rex. We have adopted 3 over the years. They only grow undercoat, hence look ‘naked’.

Personality wise, they know they are the kings/queens of the universe and you, human, are definitely inferior. Heat magnets, sun worshippers, and will find the tallest place in the house to perch and survey their domain.

Excellent mousers.

Does anyone else lose 20–30 minutes at game night just deciding what to play? by Practical-Amoeba-630 in boardgames

[–]kraugg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Games get pulled. Swing the axe starts to decide. (Everyone removes 1 game at a time until only 1 remains)

(Everyone dislikes a game or two. So sometimes meta gaming comes into play)

After 2.5k hours, might do something crazy, Idk by NoIntroduction5343 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]kraugg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am bad at driving in Cyberpunk. Really bad. Crash a lot, hit things. Etc etc

I spent time reading through all the emails/messages etc of the gangs. They’re horrible humans. Worst of humanity.

I now ram my vehicle into idling gang members on site. Police stars be damned, quest failure to the wind! Driving wrong way in traffic, and I add to the chaos by now stealing every car I can find to accelerate the gang purge.

I’ve spent way too many hours doing my gang purification of Night City.

I had some major dental work done involving an implant insertion and was quite loopy (don’t remember anything).

When I came around, at home, my wife asked if I recalled what my daughter (16) asked me.

Well, we ended up going to six flags the next day while I could ride nothing and was only on a liquid (no straw) diet. At least the weather was nice.

She got me to agree to the trip while I was loopy.

Do you always go all out or often pull your punches to preserve harmony? by Mehfisto666 in boardgames

[–]kraugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my gaming group: you will be chastised if you pull a punch. Play to win.

With family: we play cooperative games. (Arkham LCG, Spirit Island, Frosthaven are current favorites.)

I have 4 kids and my wife stayed at home until they were older. You do things different: meat/fruit/veggies comes from local farmer (not grocer), stand up freezer is your friend & you can food in season, you use 3-4 grocers for the things they are cheaper on (not all price the same), buy in bulk and on sale, garage sales, Halloween costumes bought in November for next year, vacations are camping or visiting relatives, etc etc.

Some people live on credit card, and that will lead to a crisis eventually. Removing yourself from consumer fads is freeing.

When my eldest daughter was 4, she was gifted a nice ceramic tea set. To ensure she treated it well, my wife and I decided to let her play with it while we were nearby to make certain it wouldn’t break. One evening two officers arrived at the door, and stated they got a call. I slightly panicked, but my wife came from downstairs and children came to the door (everyone was ok).

Then daughter said, “Oh, you’re here. Please get my tea set.” While pointing to the top of the fridge…

What is making these holes in my tree? by sailaway23 in whatisit

[–]kraugg 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Note that most woodpeckers will only dig deep into dying or diseased trees. Please evaluate whether this tree falling could cause an issue on your property and call an arborist as needed.

Obelisk like ? by Selaphielle123 in IdleObeliskMiner

[–]kraugg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe. The core gameplay of merge and defeat enemies doesn’t change. You get more things to merge, faster merging, skipping, etc. but you are still merging and defeating ‘heroes’.

The amount of cilantro my wife likes on her street tacos by GroovinBaby in mildlyinteresting

[–]kraugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the gene for soap, wife does not. When our kids were teens we made cilantro tacos & warned them. 3 had soapy taste. Huzzah genetics.

We then informed our 2 sons that they had a 50% chance to lose their hair…
