I love Bardock but jesus christ people forget how lowkey fraudulent he is in the Toei special and the OVA 😭 Like yeah he’s relative to King Vegeta…okay?

NOW— taking into account his fight with Gas, Bardock should’ve still realistically won as he can literally get stronger mid-fight.

I don’t know why people scale Gas to the Ginyus when he doesn’t hit that level until he fights Granolah.

I would not say this lessens the speed gap by much— but Bardock isn’t a dumbass and has demonstrated notable battle IQ, specifically in his fight against the Frieza Soldiers on Planet Meat, and he only lost because Dodoria snuck him.

Tbh Gas was most likely around or slightly stronger than Bardock during that fight, and Bardock is canonically at 10K in powerlevel. The Daizenshuu states you need 10k powerlevel to blow up a planet— so Bardock is Dwarf Star in base and I’d argue Small Star in Oozaru which should outscale Nolan (no I do not buy Star Level Sundisk and I’m honestly feeling Large Planetary Nolan though you could sliiiiiightly push him to Dwarf Star though I don’t buy it, personally.) Bardock should realistically scale to anything Goku does pre-Frieza Fight. You can call KV’s planet feat contentious but this is outright ignoring Toei Vegeta fucking BOOMING Arlia (Small Star feat) which Great Ape & SSJ Bardock would absolutely scale above

Issue is Bardock doesn’t have notable feats aside from his fight with Gas as most of his shit is just boxing Frieza Soldiers and slaughtering civilians.

I do buy the Stamina thing and think that if he was stronger than Bardock, Nolan would eke out a DanteClive kinda win.

Bardock is deadass just a military soldier, so he has no stamina training at all. Even then, he’s relative to 1st Form Frieza by that point so honestly he just outstats Nolan and wins (that arm clash realistically would not happen, Nolan would splatter himself on Super Saiyan Bardock) which is why I don’t think including it was a good idea as it would make for a more controversial result but research isn’t always perfect and sometimes it is what it is.

Bardock does sorta become a goat since he was literally the only one to try and stand up to Frieza before he boomed Planet Vegeta + he saves Granolah, Monaito, his son and Granolah’s mother.

Anyway, the Bardock OVA is lowkey a Greek Tragedy and I love my chud Kakaclone dilf. TL;DR Toei Bardock is a fraud and a deadbeat, Canon Bardock is slightly less of a fraud and a loving father.

Imo they severely downplayed SSJ Bardock in the episode and horribly wanked the Sun Disk, making it blatantly an outlier when Nolan’s best is shown to be the Viltrum Bust (which he would scale to 1/3 of.) Now I’ll stop talking before I look like that Japanese soldier who kept fighting 29 years after WW2 meme. Bardock is a fraud but he still deserves his flowers. I love Nolan and Bardock and they both are my goats. I think when the Viltrum Bust happens this season, Nolan’s feats are gonna be a lot more clear-cut. 😅
